Hey all, I’m wondering is there such a thing as 3’s pro?
I personally find triples my sweet spot and feel much stronger when progressing them.
I have the first two books so i am familiar with 5’s Pro.

I cant recall it from reading, but I’m sure it’s doable.
I dont know if it was Jim or just my imagaination but i thought I read somewhere about 3’s for olympic variants.
That said, if you’re following other principles of 531 re. TM etc, i would have thought the 5s week would be too light, would basically be a deload.
Spinal tap sets in Forever have multiple sets of three. And you could apply the principles for threes, such as 2x3 instead of 5s PRO, or a 3x3 at the top weight which is close to the Rule of Ten in Beyond. I also enjoy threes, especially for OHP and front squats.
Ahh the rule of ten! Of course! Not sure how i missed that but yeah that’s doable for sure!
For me heavy triples feel great and I always feel strong afterwards, but heavy fives… not so much.
Most appreciated. ![]()
