Healthy Creatine...

im assuming that creatine is banned form most sports because its bad for you in some way? But isnt it found in meat? Is there some way to get the effects of creatine in a natural and healthy way, or in a way that wouldnt make you test possitive on a drug test…?

Creatine isn’t banned anywhere.

When did Creatine get banned from most sports (or any sports)? I would think it’d be difficult to separate athletes who supplement it and athletes who dont. Creatine is found in meat (this includes your meat too). You take it in “naturally” by eating as well as by producing it yourself.

Also, theres a shite-load of Creatine articles around here; tons of reading material.

Health yes Pub med, life extensions, etc. search my brotha and ye shall find many a health benefit. even as far as cognitive benefit with the elderly.

good luck and have fun reading,

Creatine isn’t banned from any major sporting association. There has been a lot of media hype comparing creatine to steroids and claims that it is bad for you, but these claims are for the most part unsubstantiated. I’d recommend doing a search for creatine on this site and reading this article http://www.t-nation.com/readTopic.do?id=459457 Notice how everything is backed up with references.

It’s not banned in the States, but it is in some other countries I think. If it is banned, it qualifies the head of the organization as legally retarded.
