they are the danish supplier and they helped my out a lot and got my the discounts on the products even though that i hadnt bought them from them an thus were not qualified !!
so please support them if you can. and i can recommend the full metal jacked earbuds !
Ok… Thanks… Because i looked at CDON.com. But i will definantly not by them there now… I’ll go with the certified supplier…
best thing about the certified supplier is that you get the discount
if you cut the wires with a scissor or run them over with your skateboard or anything that you might want to do with them you get a new pair at production price…
sorry to sound like an ad or something … but it might be the best garantee ive ever heard of ?
Just don’t do what I did the other week. Hoisted some dumbbells onto my chest to start a bench press and managed to scissor the cable of my headphones between the two DBs. Snipped the headphone right off the cable. DOH!

yeah moms chatting with eachother on bosu balls and miley cyrus on the speakers is just what i need when im in the gym !!!
Ditto. Ear buds are great, they allow to ignore people all the time! The worst thing is having someone come up to you during a set wanting to strike up a conversation. This way, you dont have to! I use Skullcandy titans, and I really cant hear anything other than the music, so you really have no choice but to ignore the people and train. The old titan model seemed to be better than this newer one, Ive even purchased a pair of ink’d buds for $20 and I was really surprised with the sound quality. The only downside is that they didnt come with the memory foam tips but luckily I had some left over from before. Oh ya, and they do break quite easily, a snag here and there and you will be without sound, but for $20, fuck it, its still worth it.

Yeah man, one second Jesus and Mary Chain the next second nothing. I remember :).
I have these Shure in-ear headphones kinda like the ones you have pictured. Amazing sound quality. Deep bass, great mid range, sharp highs. They block out almost ALL ambient noise so they’re great for when I don’t want to hear anyone and won’t be talking to anyone in the gym. They’re pricey, but they last a long time and are def worth the money if you’re into rich sound.
The only downside is that when people (inevitably) try and talk to me it’s a bitch to pull them out of my ears and then shove them back in. They came with a few different attachments and I use the memory foam ones, so they’re kind of a pain to put back in.
When I lift with a buddy or know that I’ll be talking/listening during my workout, I use the plain jane Ipod earbuds. The sound quality sucks, but they’re good for taking out and putting back in repeatedly.
hope that helps.

I have them and like them as well
But they haven’t lasted that long for me, but that’s no biggie here in Norway since you get new ones (by law) if they stop working withing 5 years of purchase… (Headphones never last that long for me…) I’m on my 3rd pair now… (just bought one)
While I enjoy having my headphones with me at the gym, I never run back to get them if I forgot them when I get to the gym. The gym plays mostly rock/metal from the 80’s and 90’s so I’m perfectly fine with that on most days.
That said, I use over-the-ear headphones without a bar connecting them. I like this particular brand of headphones so much that I’ve used them exclusively for almost 6 years, and almost cried when Radio Shack stopped carrying them (and promptly ordered two pairs online so that I had a backup set…)
They just slip over the ear. The only criticism I have for them is the wire is kinda long (my ipod can touch the ground hanging from the chord while I’m wearing the headphones at 6’ tall), but I’ve learned to deal with that. The part I really like about them is that it’s really easy to change the wire’s position. With a quick flip, the wire will be behind me for cleans and such. Then flip it back in front of me for bench pressing, etc.

anyone have experience using skullcandy headphones while running ? ive never seemed to find any headphones that didnt fall out when i was runnig
The Full metal jacked was doing a fine job but when sprinting the would fall out because of the weight of the metal…
maybe some other brand ?
The best way I found is to just put a hat on which covers your ears.
i’ve ruined (shorted out?) about 4-5 pairs of headphones in the last two years alone. i stopped using headphones while i lift and i feel i am more in tune with my body, the weights and the feel of the exercises…which has resulted in much better workouts

Totally agree. As much as I hate to admit it I work out better without my big clunky ipod clipped to my shorts connected to wires hanging from my head. Sometimes I get the best of both worlds and my gym lets me play Dying Fetus or Cannibal Corpse over the loud speaker in the weight room, but this rarely lasts for long.
See I would do that but there is no way in hell I am listening to that bullshit that they play on the speakers. If I had my own gym obviously it would be a different story, I would be playing Dying Fetus loud as fuck (love their new album).

Ditto which is why Don’t wear them because I enjoy tuning into myself and the world around me.

Fuck earbuds, they’re uncomfortable.
I rarely bring my own music when in the gym and as such have little to say on the matter, but I have found that putting the wire up under my shirt instead of over it like normal solves this problem as well. It’s a bit of a hassle but I think overall it’s easier than switching back and forth from exercise to exercise.
PB Andy wrote:
hmmm samdan, I might grab those… pretty cheap. How’s the sound quality, and from what I can tell they aren’t noise cancelling?
I think it’s good quality, but I’ll qualify that statement by saying I’ve NEVER spent more than $30 on a set of headphones. They aren’t noise-canceling, but I can crank my music high enough to compensate for that. Nobody’s complained to me about having to hear my music, but I know people can.
Plus, with everyone’s talk of shorting out headphones by sweating, these have a foam cover on them for comfort which keeps most of the sweat out.

Meh, I tried that once and it just ended up pulling out some chest hair with the plastic-coated wire.
