HCG vs Nolvadex

I’m currently on Test Cyp and Arimidex. I’m thinking about adding either HCG or Nolvadex to keep my testes healthy and possibly improve mood. From what I’ve read on here, it sounds like HCG is ideal but Nolvadex will do a similar job.

It seems to me that Nolvadex is much more convenient and less expensive. Why is HCG more preferred? Has anyone had experience with both?

Hcg mimics LH.
Nolvadex is a SERM and many (including me) feel side’s from SERM’s
Although I have never tried NOLVA

Thanks Macmathews. What sides do you feel from SERMS. I have taken Cholmid mono therapy, and it made me moody, but I attributed that to increased E2. If I control E2 with an AI, I’m hoping to to avoid that side affect. What do you think?

If SERM creates too much LH, E2 can rise from fT–>E2 inside the testes and AI cannot reduce that component of E2 production.

hCG is a natural human hormone. You were soaking in that in the womb for a few months. SERM’s are pharmaceutical drugs. That drives a lot of preferences. You are right, a little pill every day or two has a lot of attractiveness, with FSH too.

Thanks KSMan! I have read many of your posts and find your input very helpful and informative. I think I’m going to try the Nolvadex and see how I feel, and maybe get some labs. I will post my results for those who are interested.
