Haye Vs Klitschko

you all going to be crying your collective apologies with the hayemaker unleashes a big hook on the glass jaw of the russian ballerina

(will probably be the most boring undeservedly hyped up fight of the last 5 years or so)

Lol. I appreciate your attempt to liven it up though!

Vlad at 7:25 has on a ‘I take you out back and chop you up in little pieces’ look.

That was a Mike Tyson spot the chink in your armor moment right there

Thanks for the video. That was a great watch.

Haye looked like he was shitting his pants in the first few minutes, lol. Stammering, showing no confidence at all and he couldn’t even look at Vlad in the eyes at first. I can’t stand the guy but I must say, I chuckled at his jabbering toward the end.

Vlad had that vicious killer look, haha. Props to him for remaining so calm and collected. And mostly courteous.

Bring it on July 2.

Haye runs his mouth way too much.Every time he is in an interview he feels the need to say ‘bum’ atleast 30 times.I hope the big russian jabs the fuck out of him then KO’s him.[/quote]

Russian? Who are you referring to?

VK is Ukrainian…

Although I do agree Hayes favourite word is bum.

Its kinda strange really, he does far more down putting his opponent than actually stating what attributes he has to win…but still…a lot of great athletes/sportsmen have notable personalities.

You could cut the guy a bit of slack (at least for some of the things he does). No doubt if he was American people would call him “charismatic” and confident not arrogant

My mistake, It was my belief that the two brothers were russian.

TBH, Haye being from the UK over America doesn’t colour my view on him. I’m not from either country so Im pretty objective in that regard.
We only get to see these small snapshots of vids to form a view on what a sportsperson is like. Maybe it is just the persona they portray in the media but I am naturally drawn to root for the person that seems like a more decent guy.

That doesnt mean I dont respect the heck out of what he has achieved or the skill level that he has.I just don’t like his attitude in interviews thats all.

I don’t blame you, VW handles himself well in conferences. If I wasn’t a Haye fan I too wouldn’t support his kind. I was particularly disappointed to see him not shake hands.

I think its easy to get drawn in pre fight and make judgements but its important to understand its Hayes biggest fight of his career and VW most notable challenger for a while therefore both are going to be nervous and start mind games.

Ill be very interested to see how Haye handles himself after the fight whether it be win or lose.

+1 win or lose how he handles himself afterwards will be a true indication of his integrity. I know it’s not quite the same but I’m reminded of Holyfield’s loss in the olympics. He won more fans by being a stoic and gracefull loser due to a dodgy decision compared to if he had sulked after the decision was made.

This.

Feel sorry for Matthysse. He should be one of the top fighters in the division and instead he’s getting sidelined by questionable losses.

Everyone knows that I am a huge fan of Khan and will be picking him to beat Zab in a good fight. However, has anyone seen the betting on Zab? Those prices are insane!

This fight is doubly win for me.

If Klitschko beats Haye’s smug, trash-talking face in -quite likely, if I may say so- , it’ll be sweet.

If Haye manages to KO Vlad, hey, cool, some movement atop the frozen peak. Good for the sport.

And both will feature a brutal KO with fighters I don’t find too likeable. (Does anybody anticipate a decision?)
So I’m good either way.

Haye is seriously considering retiring after this fight, so if, GOD FORBID, he actually won, it would be an absolute disaster for the division.

While a decision isn’t likely, it also isn’t impossible. Haye biked it all night long versus Valuev, Wlad has said he is going to look for the knockout in the LAST round, not impossible at all.

Totally agree with this.

That’s the best part about it for me… I’m no fan of anyone in HW division so I don’t really care. Attention is attention as far as I’m concerned.

I will state again that if you are going to watch this thinking it is going to be a good fight, don’t.

I do not think it will be competitive or exiting.

this is a HYPE fight only.

boring late round KO by W.K. or UD.

Klitschko late by KO. Haye to resume trash-talk roughly 10 seconds after exiting the ring. For some reason, some fanboys will still listen to him.

^^ hahaha!!

One day to go… can’t wait!

Im picking Haye to beat both Klitsch brothers!..the HW division seriously needs a character like Haye as the champ. And it will be extra special if Haye KO’s Klitsch with one of those wild over hand rights he throws

I’m not watching any boxing until Don King comes back.

Who’s with me?
