Of possible interest. @greenboy, maybe some others. I remember watching this clip from Tucker Carlson last year. Let me make this clear: I DO NOT WATCH FOX NEWS, NOR AM I A CONSERVATIVE. I only watch TC clips on YT because I like him. I like no other conservative talking heads.
Andrew Yang acknowledged the plight and vices of men these days here too. Keep in mind they were discussing the plight of men in modern day America, not the gender that had to bear more burdens or found and carve up nations and empires. @greenboy
I’ve got ribs cooking and I’m researching my next gun purchase. Like I said, my life is good, dude.
In all seriousness, I think you’re doing yourself a big disservice by spending so much time “observing” social media as opposed to real life. Just my observation.
Once again, this looks like a failure to communicate, so allow me to expand my analogy.
While we’re standing in the Taco Bell line, you inform me that you have $5, and can buy the $5 box. Then, when we get to the line, you say “What I meant was, back when I was 18, I had $2.75 in my wallet. I was WELL on me way to having $5 by now, and if I didn’t get mugged at 19, I definitely woulda had it by now.”
Again, the understanding was we were all talking about who could buy the $5 box NOW: not about who displayed the potential to do so earlier.
I can’t believe I’m biting, since I’ve shared this so many goddamn times on this site. But here we go.
The picture is about 2 months before I ever took anything. It’s right about when I competed in my first strongman competition, and got my ass handed to me. 5’10, and right about 190 lbs. I read above where you said you don’t go from the skinny 18 year old I was to what you’ll see in the pic below naturally. But, you know what? It happened. I added 65 lean lbs to my frame over the course of 12 years. Most of the progress was in the last 4ish years of that time period.
You’re just not understanding man. He’s not saying he has $5 For a taco, just that he’s observed that people in general have $5 For tacos. It’s just what he can see happening man.
I have three sisters/Sisters-in-law over 35 that are not “destroyed”. One runs a school, one is a teacher, ones a Veterinarian. My former boss, at 62, wasn’t “destroyed” either.
You’ve made a weird claim, you won’t back it up with anything beyond “because I said so”, and you just ignore everyone else’s anecdotes.
