Yes, I do conduct myself in a manner that takes into consideration how others will perceive me - but that wasn’t my point.
That post you’re criticizing is probably the best I have or ever will make, seriously. Now I can rest in a deeper way, thank you for the opportunity to release it. Happy to discuss it further, but no detectable need, currently
It’s pretty simple for me really. First of all I just read what the redpillers had to say. I never said I endorsed all their views.
As mentioned they have some valid points that being a guy can be tough. The thing is, it has always been difficult to be male in certain ways. Parents have always had less sympathy for boys showing sadness. Young boys have often had to wrestle and fistfight just to be part of the group. Men fought in wars throughout history. Etc…
The thing is, nothing has really changed. Life is hard, for everyone. You can whine about it, or go to work to get what you want.
We live in a world built by men for men. Fucking enjoy it man!
This is admirable, and part of my point. Women will shit on you these days for doing what you gotta do.
For others in here it’s simply ok for them to do that because of the value proposition. At other times this was ok, because the chances of upward mobility were there, these days? the future? people are worried that won’t be there. And what happens if it is not?
Coming out of grad school during the economic crisis might have actually been worse for you, actually it was worse because there were a ton of qualified and overqualified people being underemployed. And most coming out of grad school with that level of debt did not expect to go work for 40k lol
Most recruiters at that time advised against just getting any job, unless absolutely necessary… as in, you’re going to be homeless.
I suspect most of you have this type of background, because a lot of you proudly beat your chests and throw your own personal achievements when no one asked for them.
Then how can you not agree that as this has shifted, and women have shifted in the other direction, this may not present a problem ?
Well then that’s good I guess?
That is absolutely amazing. Good for you, you may not think you’re not a typical American but you sure as hell sound like one.
You agree with me a ton here, and yet what are we arguing about again?
I think work culture amongst women have ruined a majority of them, everyone will call me crazy but that is what I believe.
Hm, yeah I’ll admit Texas isn’t somewhere I frequent often.
My first job out of the Corps was 2008 and out of college was 2012. My wife 2009. I get it, the job market sucked, but that has nothing at all to do with what I wrote.
