The implications of reinforce algorithms are HUGE and I wouldn’t be surprised if what I have observed in my day to day is a direct result of people being influenced online but maybe that’s just my ‘bubble’ lol

Look man, you’re right, people need to reevaluate their stances - shit I do it all the time, I’d recommend you do it as well and not in some superficial “see I did it and i still think this” way but legitimately take a step back and re-evaluate your thought processes, the arguments you use, the fact your clearly have at best a superficial understanding of statistics, algorithms, neuroscience, etc. and maybe try being a bit humble – your perspective might actually be received better than the approach you’ve been taking.
