Yeah you gotta have a type of “look” to pull off being bald. I think being in great shape helps too.
I personally only look good bald if I have my beard. If I shave my beard and I’m bald I look fucking horrible. Even my wife told me to never shave my beard off again while bald haha!
You also have to have a good head shape to pull it off. I had a friend when I lived in California who tried it, good looking, fit younger guy, and it was horrible. It also didn’t help that he was semi-tan and his head was eggshell white… You have to have a relatively uniform skin tone gradient for it to work.
Yeah if you have a round head and round face it is no good lol.
I agree with this 100%. I didn’t realise until I was forced to shave, but my head looks like a beaten up bag of hammers. Lucky my face is so pretty.
As a child of the 90s that grew up thinking black leather jackets were cool, I found out they were less well received when bald.
You really only have 2 options if you bald as a white guy. Get fit or get fat.
Otherwise you just come off like a skinhead.

@greenboy You are looking at this all wrong. This is natural selection at work. Obesity rates are increasing in young women. This makes older women more attractive to men (in our society).
As men turn their attention away from the younger pork chops, the rate of reproduction drops because of the withering reproductive organs of older people.
In response to this, nature finds a way to make older women less appealing to men. The answer? Make middle aged women look older. Or as I like to call it, Early Onset Female Haggardness.
So in summary, middle aged women are looking like they’ve been smashed in the face with a 4x4 because of fat younger women and not because of work or equality.
And for the record, I have advanced qualification in scientism.
In the PNW, you also have the third option of growing a beard, wearing plaid shirts and wearing glasses.

What am I looking at? To me this is an example of social manipulation causing problems in young girls. Once they get into adulthood this is what happens to many of them.
Maybe I’m jaded from being an east coast kid, mainly raised/living in middle to upper middle class suburbs, I dunno but I see this a lot. I mean, A LOT.
But let me ask… you don’t find more single women now than before? I still see women in their 40s talking about “not settling”
And I think a lot of hard heads in here missed the points I was making. Women want it all now, they have been groomed to expect it all, this is a social thing on a wide scale… I think.

Is it possible you see more women in their 40s not settling than you did in your 20s because you’d be more inclined to associate with women in their 40s as you approach 40 vs you would have when you were in your 20s?
The odd thing to me is that I actually agree with some of your statements in isolation. The American economy, while the GDP continues to rise, is becoming more and more top-heavy, with wealth in the hands of the few, while average wages stagnate and struggle to keep up with inflation. Corporations are only in it for the bottom line, and only take apparently altruistic actions when they see a benefit in it for them. There are tons of examples you could trot out about problems in the world. What I’m failing to put together is how you take these disparate notions and somehow use them to conclude that women having high standards is a major consequence, or even a problem at all?
I see it across the board.

Women think on all fronts now. Every man has to be good looking, have a good job and make enough to meet their standards, a long with having a great character, witty, tall, and all these other requirements…
Men don’t have those same requirements for women. Add in the power of social media, the dopamine kick females get from validation, text messaging and the ability to ‘ghost’
And now not only are you competing for the same job as the girl you may want to take out to dinner, you still have to pay for her dinner lol. Yeah, some girls say they always split the bill, but the damn girl is lying, she still wants the guy to pay… fifty shades of grey was an International best seller FOR A REASON

I dunno. I know a lot of women that have settled for the good earner, house in middle to upper middle class lifestyle and still want that booty plundered like their high earning desk job husband can’t.
Not doing the self aggrandisement thing, just saying that if I don’t mention the wife within the first couple minutes of conversation it drifts into dangerous territory.
