I don’t know which is worse. Both of mine were off the fucking charts. Yes, some of what I said above is based on my personal experience with my own family. None of my parents were abusive ever though. However, my dad did chill out with his yelling, or being overly aggressive when he was mad when I became of age to actually whoop his fucking ass. Maybe it was him respecting me as a man? Maybe, or it was him realizing if yell at this man he may hit me. I think it works both ways.
But my mom never thought twice bout what she said lol, she was never verbally abusive, but out of the two she definitely spoke freely.
Now, what I see some other family members go through with their wives woooooowie. Listening to a man get berated by a wife is a doozy. I tell ya. And having her rip her own kids apart and embarrass them… that must be something. Boys should never be humiliated by their mothers. Like I said before, the FBI says that can lead to serial killer tendencies lol

Thanks. But it was a long time ago, and I’ve done quite a bit to rectify that. Even having my own family, which while not the Cleavers, we’re reasonably happy, and my son is the light of my life. He woke me up at midnight last night to make sure he was the first to wish me happy birthday. Sweetest kid in the world.
