Where is the incentive for them to make this happen?
Shits and giggles?
Pornography, social media, and entertainment media have actually given some men around the world a distorted image of what women in the US and Europe are actually like in reality.
Luckily people in the US have a perfectly clear view of the rest of the world.
Never did I once say this. I also said SOME.
Your implication was that this was a uniquely American problem, rather than a fairly basic and common sense observation.
People who live a long way away from each other with only limited information are often poorly informed about each other. Colour me surprised.
US, and Western media and entertainment as a whole also introduce good ideas that are taken for granted even in other developed countries such as acceptance of homosexuality, racial equality, female empowerment, freedom of speech, individual rights and soverignity, government accountability, role of government, due process, police and State brutality, and so on.
You can keep the Kardashians, though. And Jimmy Fallon.
About a month ago the cart return/bagger kid threw my eye of round on top of my cupcakes and crushed them so I pushed my cart over the hill at the end of the lot.
I was really happy about those cupcakes, thinking about how happy the kiddo would be to get them.
Usually I just park right next to the cart return station, so it’s no big deal. But that really pissed me off.
I’ve noticed something in off topic threads: an almost uncontrollable impulse for wiseass remarks for anything not aligning with what another thinks or knows or feels. I don’t think I once did that.
If someone wants to correct me, go ahead! If someone thinks differently, go ahead! But if you want to reply, just try to refrain from being condescending. Maybe, just maybe, we have different information, knowledge, experience, even different sorts of friends.
I was referring to a specific topic in a specific context.
Oh, before I posted again.
Eh, couldn’t hold it in.
I apologise if I misread or offended you, that wasn’t my intent.
While I disagree with many of your views, I have plenty of respect for the way you arrived at them and express them.
OK, sorry here too.
whoa whoa whoa … you take that limey bullshit elsewhere … this is 'Murica
That shit’s only acceptable if you’re singing about a Cult of Personality
Miserable people seem to only focus and report on miserable things and seemingly fail to consider phenomena as a whole
Not me, I leave it parked next to my spot.
This is a solid point. Most people don’t know what to do with wealth to create more wealth. The process of attaining it, prepares you to maintain it. It’s so easy to fail at business. People don’t just trip and fall into forever maintaining whatever was given to them.
Fine, but we’ll give you Brie Larson
My tone was poor, on rereading it. Hopefully you can see the point I was trying to make through the poorly chosen words.
It’s all good.
This would start the next World War.
Clearly you don’t watch enough Asian porn lol
I don’t think anything in media gives an accurate depiction of any real aspect of life. All high school students are jacked and look mid 20’s. Cars blow up after shooting them twice in the gas tank…etc.
When I was overseas they viewed Americans as Kardasians if you were from California, Swamp people if you were from Lousianna, Sex and the City if you were from New York, and CSI Miami from Florida. I witnessed my friend from Florida tell multiple people where he was from and they would all say “ohhh, like CSI”. Exactly, every corner there’s a half naked dead person with an interesting story. They also asked me why I didn’t just try out for American Idol and become famous, there is clearly a misunderstanding that happens by viewing America through Hollywood.
So yes, I agree with you, but lets not pretend it’s just porn that lies and the lies are just about women. Even close friends (of both genders) paint a false picture about their life on social media.
Eh, re-read what you quoted bro…
