Especially when it’s the same fucking shite all other kids do…now if your kid got his pilot’s license at 14, or killed a bear with a gun (in some locale where this is unusual) then I could take it a little bit…however I won’t bore you with my above-average kids if you don’t bore me with yours.
I was a dinner party with some of my gf’s friends a few weeks ago … they’re all nurses. Anyways, they have this other friend who is/was/is engaged to this douchebag. So they apparently broke up and the girl was distraught (she wasn’t there). They were all discussing how she can be thinking of going back to him, yada yada yada. So I say, “You know what she really needs? A good dick.”
My girl and her other friend started giggling a little bit and everyone else was kind of in a state of shock that I said this. So I go on to elaborate, you know explain the history of their relationship as I saw it, the logic behind my assessment and the psychological breakthough she would have is she had a one night stand with some guy.
That was fun. usually when I’m in a boring conversation I’ll do one of two things a.) say something intriguing/shocking/taboo … you know like an elephant in the room type of thing or b.) start thinking about being a rapper. But I’d need a schtick. Maybe I could wear goat leggings and be the Black Sheep…either way I have a good time.
