Been doing the 5/3/1 for a while and making good strength gains with squats and deadlifts and hitting rep pr, but not so much with bench and press.
Been stuck with bench on 85kg (1rep) and press at 50kg for 1 rep.
Saw the Hardgainer template and thought it maybe could help sith my presses.
Is this a good template? Or should I just stick to the 5s pro with bbb fsl for a couple of cycles and then 531 pr with 5x5fsl?
Have done bbb with both opposite lift and same lifts before.
My 1rm lifts are:
Squat 137.5kg
Deadlift 177.5kg
Bench 85kg
M.press 50kg
