Like you said, if you feel beat up you did something right.

Tonight I felt pretty good until I did the heavy dead and it felt like a ton so that got me pissed to do some good mornings.

A fairly good evening.

I’ve had that experience with a heavy pull before. No chance of me following it up with 315 good mornings though. Nice work!

Thanks Dave.

The lifting tonight went well though I would have liked to move more weight on my top sets.

My upper body has taken a thrashing this week and tonights lifting showed it but my numbers should improve soon.

Wow, 315 on the GMs is stout; that is some big pressing as well. Great job.

Thanks Jack

I think my 501 front squat was just at parallel or just above. I will work to get the next one deeper.

Cant tell from the vid about depth but a 500 FS is damn impressive. I never seen the harness before looks pretty cool

Thanks Matty the harness is very cool. The harness helps me avoid the pain with my arthritic wrists and is awesome for Zercher work as well.

The 315 good mornings make my back hurt thinking about it.

My back felt stupendous for a couple of days. There was a lot of deep tissue work for the affected area.

Beastly front squat GV. And I’ve been meaning to comment on your OHP. I think I saw 225 not long ago, but too busy to post much these days. Trying to catch up.
That should carry over to benching pretty well I would think.

Thank OP yeah there has been some progress though some has been sloppy. Lifting tonight went well considering I was operating on 5 hours of sleep the previous night.

Was supposed to do DE Benching today but decided to switch DE Bench Day to Friday. I think saving my heavy benching for the end of the week takes away from my strength and I’m too depleted then to get a good ME day especially after a previous day of a heavy deadlift variation. Tonight went well but I think next week will be better and my sleep time should be better.

Wow. Huge front squat. Great work all around.

Thanks Jack, hopes are that the bigger front squats will translate to bigger back squats and deads.

Tonight went well.

Back is feeling it and squats were explosive. Overall everything felt pretty good.

Strong lower body work as always. How are you liking the dead stop deadlifts? I’m thinking about adding them at some point.

Crippler-the dead stop deads are great and I think will aid me in building explosive power from various position.
I became extremely sick late Thursday night and have had a cold all weekend. Today is the first day I am beginning to feel a bit better so I will most likely do a light upper body lifting tonight.

On second thought I just decided to say screw it, this past weeks training was blown so I ate two black and white cookies had a little coffee and I’ll get back to the lifting plan tomorrow. Sometime you just have to say phuk-it.
