hahahaha. how times have changed. it used to be (and for the most part still is) the fastest way to kill a girls libido is to talk about video games.it’s nice that it’s a bit more accepted now for the most part but this this is too much.

Lol, how is talking about my long, shitty marriage presenting my best life? But no, I didn’t find that guy in my 40’s, I married him in my early 20’s.
I’ve remarried, and am in year 6 of a very satisfying relationship. We’ve been married for 2.5 years. Here’s a picture of him (lol):
I can also easily enumerate his positive qualities. I can identify what drew me to him and what deficits in me matched deficits in him. I can identify the positives of the marriage for both of us and for each of us, which were many. We’re polite to each other now, but we were supports for one another in the wake of the divorce, with only occasional flares of bitterness.
Life is not one-dimensional.

Think about it:
Not even 10 years ago, I’d say maybe 5 years ago, being a ‘gamer’ was a sure fire way to be called a man child, or basement dweller. And it was a sure as hell way to get a girl running the other way…
but fast forward 5 years to the present, where gamers like Ninja are pulling in millions of dollars and all of a sudden this is an accepted pass time.
What does that really tell us? Because there is monetary gain to be made, because it is now mainstream, we get females involved. Doesn’t that kinda validate everything I’ve ever said in these threads?
We’re at the point now where if you don’t think females enjoy FUCKING VIDEO GAMES you are considered the one that is a basement dweller.
