Hand Wraps in between Knuckles or Not?

Started boxing a couple months ago. I dont get into my local boxing gym as much as Id like. Anyways…

What do you guys say when it comes to wrapping? Few guys in the gym go in between the fingers and a handful do?

Is one more prtoective then the other?

I wrap between my fingers. I find it helps keep the wraps from slipping.

I was also taught to go between the fingers.

I never did before, but I’m going to start now. From what I can tell, most pros appear to wrap their hands between the knuckles- it probably lends more support to the hand.

It does…and I notice that before I started wrapping between fingers,my fingers/hand would cramp up a lot. I started wrapping between fingers and those issues went away. Don’t know if that was exactly a result of wrapping between fingers, but it was definitely a coincidence.

Have always gone between the fingers

Same… always gone between fingers, can’t imagine how you would do it otherwise

Me too. Between.

Make sure to get the super long wraps, because if you have the shorter ones and try an go in between your fingers, you could end up with not enough wrap to finish the outside.

Definately between the fingers. How else would you do it?

yeah my pops alweys taught me to wrap between my fingers. Not only does it keep the wrap in place but but it makes for a much tighter and supportive wrap.
