I dont know that he’s weak. He could be fat. or both. but I guarantee, using nothing more than guesswork that he isnt a big strong lean guy, otherwise the op wouldnt be asking the question.

I asked hanban for information on his training. No one was “bashed” in that post at all. It is up to hanban if he responds so the additions made by others not related to that aren’t needed.

There’s experiences and then there’s advice coming from a position of authority. I think there’s a very big difference between relating personal accounts of perceived failures or successes and stating adamantly that ‘this’ is how you do something.

There are some very knowledgeable folks on here, most of whom don’t post as often as they should because it’s not worth the grief of getting into pissing contests. The way I see it, there are two types of people whose comments MIGHT be worth reading: Those with serious educational and scientific credentials to support their beliefs (only a handful of people on here qualify), and those who have proven their knowledge by walking the walk. This entails recognized success via BBing contest, PLing meet, or a universally agreed upon (rare indeed!) great physique.
I agree with this…which is why the question was asked. We did this all of the time in the T-Cell forum without people claiming it was bashing someone. I also don’t make posts just to laugh at someone else’s progress unless they really aren’t making much and the reason is their own lack of fortitude.

If you post advice on this forum, you should expect for people to inquire what gives you any insight at all whether that be medical, scientific, professional competition or just life experience.

One correction I would make though, is that when I started, I listened to many of the older guys who were still big into their 40’s. Many of them hadn’t competed but looked amazing and could have easily done so if they wanted to. It would have been a shame if I missed out on the knowledge they had because I thought only people who competed knew how to get big.

In the rare occasion you have someone with both qualifications, you listen.

I’ve been gone for too long.
THERE you are, Hoss! I had posted recently questioning where you were.

Lookin’ good, fellow iron dwarf!
Wow, and I had a random feeling to start posting here again…must be the midget telepathic link LOL

Glad someone remembers me! I remember telling my wife how cool it is to share a forum with a bbing magazine artist years ago.

Good to see you and the gang still here. I’ll be posting more.

I haven’t taken a shot at you. I asked how you train. Why the attitude?
well i could tell you, but this thread is an honor i don’t deserve since i dont have pictures up. there are lots of big guys here with hub pics who should be getting a thread before me:)
Personally, I think if you give advice you can have a thread like this…otherwise, why give advice?
THIS
I only starting progressing until I stopped listening to everyone and filtered it to people who looked like bodybuilders. This only limited me to a few hundred people who post their history/diet/training/philosophy/advice and more.
