hey guys.
my quad development is quite far ahead of my hamstring development (my calves are ok and getting better). and i was just wondering what would be the best exercise for hamstrings? i can sense a hamstring injury coming along
DL’s, RDL’S, Glute-Ham Raise, Back Extensions (especially one-legged - if capable),Good Mornings, leg curls etc.
If your hams are a weakness, make sure you put them 1st in your workout while fresh.

GHRs
When I purchased my Atlantis Glute Ham machine my hamstring strength and developement went through the roof!
IMO RDLs hit the hammies pretty hard.
hey zeb how much and where would I find it?
Thank jsal33
You can do Natural GHR’s by pinning your ankles under almost anything, and self-spotting yourself. No special equipment necessary. I use the decline/flat ab bench in my gym, and a towel to wedge my feet/ankles.
Also don’t forget about the reverse lunge and variations on the good morning such as zercher and seated.

I have some other pieces from this company and they are superb! Not cheap, but great equipment.

Your first option should be to consider working the hams on the first day of your training week and make it the first exercise you do, i.e give priority to the hams before quads.
full squats, sumo squats, deadlifts, ghr, and curls. laters pk
I would definately add in deadlifts and RDL’s. But most of all if you access to it which most of us dont, is a reverse hyper machine, great for the posterior chain.
