Hammer Curls and EZ Bar Curls

been doing hammer curls and ez bar curls for my biceps for some time now, been making good progress and is satisfied but heard that the biceps brachii, the top part of the biceps apparently isn’t worked unless the palm is facing upwards.

is this true?

Nope.

The biceps brachii IS your biceps. That arm muscle you flex is called the biceps brachii, people shorten it to biceps. The brachialis is underneath it, which is emphasized by doing hammer curls, but yes, doing those two exercises does train “the entire biceps.” Whether or not that is enough depends on a lot of factors you have not provided, but the most important thing is the progress you are making, which you claim is good, so there ya go.

As for me, feeling the biceps working has always been an issue. I feel better at pushing exercices rather than pulling exercices. So as long as I feel it working and making progress, I don’t worry about the type of curling, I simply curl so to speak…
