If you can get the paint, and your friend is up to it, I’d do a huge 3D-ish mural of a gym on one wall, so it looks like your little gym is just the entry into a larger facility.
Awesome gym, dude. I’m a little jealous. I’d be really jealous if you had your own squat rack. But you have your own trap bar, so I will just covet that.
first, why not put huge mirrors up? But if your hellbent on drawing some shit, you best have taken a few drawing classes in HS. If not, dont touch a paint brush. It’s near impossible to get the proportions of something right without an instructor and practice.
Skater: see the bench? Opposite of it are two 4x6 mirrors. I told you, the pictures make it you can’t see shit right lol. I don’t have a proper squat rack, its next on the list. I have a college budget and my work is very stop-go with no help from the parents so its a balancing act.
The mats on the floor were $1/sqft but TOTALLY worth it. I dropped a 300lb deadlift on purpose to see what happened, near silence.
and skater, about the drawing: I’m not doing something graphic at this point, I’ve decided its too much for the house and overly complex. perhaps just big-college style letters of sayings on walls.
now i just need good sayings, or even just awesome words.
Wow, your gym looks awesome! Great job!
congrats dude, it came together nicely.
