Gym Membership

Workout with the gorillas at the boxing gym and train yourself for free. You’ll be better off.

Thanks again, everyone. Another question: Does anyone know how to calculate the calories burned during sprinting. I want to make sure I add them into my diet.

Example Sprint Workout: 200 yds, no incline, Flying (increase speed to full sprint @ 10 yds.) 2 times - Rest - 63 yards, full sprint, approx. 40% incline, rest, 4 times Stretch

A-men, Brother Eric.

Gorillas? Don’t you have a 90" reach?

MF. I guess you didn’t read his post. The dude has two choices. Both are a fucking rip offs. As for your question about $450 home gym. Brand Spanking new Power tower $120, new olimpic weights up to 250lbs $199. That leaves enough left over to buy a nice mirror. And MF. If you can’t make gains with what I just listed you don’t make gains anyway. So keep you pussy lips closed. “Well Run Fitness Center” What a fucking joke. Any training that works only out of the gym and is not a freelancer is a bitch like you. You probably work at Bally’s Holiday spa or something and you got a weekend course in PT from Some other fat fuck pussy trainer. This site is for the HARD CORE. Quick there is an openning on the nautilus fly machine, maybe you can work in a set or two with that middle aged lady.

I live in Washington Heights, New York City where I payed $99.00 for a fifteen month membership at a full gym with hammer strength equipment.

Easy choice - the second place. The first place is closed 1 out of 7 days, which is ridiculous. All gyms should be open 7 days. As for the personal trainers, the quality of trainer you get for free at a health club with such a relatively low yearly fee is extremely poor and in most cases, quite lacking in knowledge of proper exercise ans nutrition techniques. I know some members are going to disagree, but most Gold’s, World’s, and Powerhouse franchises I’ve been to have been pretty good gyms for serious weight trainers. The only ones I worry about are the ones that adds “Plus” to the franchise name. This will typically know the hardcore quality of the gym a good 50-70%.

<$300 per year? Why are the gyms in my town so expensive?

Ok…I had to tell all you T-Peeps about my run in with the “Head Personal Training Professional” (that’s what his name card said).

Mr. Head Personal Training Professional asked me what my goals were. I explained to him I was trainning for sprinting. I went to the squat rack. He then told me how weight lifting will take seconds off my 50 yard dash (“If you’re too muscular it will slow you down…blah, blah, blah”). What is up with that?

I pray that the Gods of T-mag will bless Mr. Head Personal Trainning Professional with a brain.

Sorry, I’ve been laughing about that since…Too Muscular…lol.

I tried to tell you that a personal trainer that does not freelance is worthless. So is 90% of the machines they have.

You guys are really overlooking something here!
Not everyone has the space to put a power rack, bench, and all the other stuff.

Some people have no choice but go to a club.
