GVT Program Critique

Hey guys, I am just about to start GVT. As the title suggests, I have a program laid out, but I am ready to accept all reccomendations on how to improve, streamline it, etc.

Chest + Back Day
Bench 10 x 10
Row 10 x 10

Leg Day Day
Squat 10 x 10
Stiff Leg DL’s 10 x 10

Arm + Soulder Day
Later raises 5 x 10
Rear delts 5 x 10
CLose GRip Bench Press 5 x 10
BB Curl 5 x 10

*Note, the only reason I have no OHP in this program is because I feel that the shoulders get pounded enough with the combined benching on the Chest + Arm Days

I trained in the ‘old’ GVT style last year, utilising almost exactly the same lifts you do here. Worked like a charm for about 4 weeks then I simply couldn’t face another workout. They were just too dull! I also dislike high rep training generally, (although the change of pace may have contributed to the results).

I don’t have any exact figures of how much weight etc I gained, but I did get asked by someone at my Thai Boxing class who I hadn’t seen for a couple of months the question: “are you on roids now?”. He was being serious. I was well chuffed.

Personally if I were to do it again I’d plumb for the new Poliquin version posted on here this week.
