Sigs are great guns, but I only recommend their pistols for personal protetion, and then only because they make some very concealable pistols (e.g., the Sig 230 variants in .380 is the smallest viable personal protection pistol IMHO).
If you are a cop/security/whatever, they have some nice carbines, etc.
Again, pistols suck for home defense. Indeed, pistols suck in general. Concealed/vehicle carry is the only reason to have them.
