It’s nice. Bit quiet compared to Melbourne but I kinda like it that way.

Squats

Marathoned the Office last night with a mate so feeling pretty shitty this morning but squats moved well enough. Focusing on a smooth controlled (much more controlled than before lol) descent but still figuring out how best to go about the last part of the descent and bounce out the hole.

Bench
Leg Press

Ran outa time so will make up for it with some extra upper body stuff laters. And that’s it for Sheiko #37 next up #30

Implants. Easy

Most importantly Joocy glutes.

How do I get a juicy glute pump though? Like seriously. Leg Press is great for quads but is there a equivalent for like the deadlift muscles?

Do 45° back extensions with your hands on the pad/on your hips or glutes and focus on keeping your back straight

As you come up squeeze with the glutes and try to push your hips through the pad

Sadly you can’t really load this exercise but a lot of reps with little rest between sets will give you the pump you’re looking for

medium / high rep deficit sumos work well too.

Thnx I didn’t even think of that. It gets hamstring in there too right?

I like leg curls paired up with the 45 degree back raises. Hands on hips to keep tight is an awesome tip.

Leg curl machine is the gym is weird also I get clicking with leg curls so I’ve never done them much.

While we are all here what’s the part of the hamstring in the sumo deadlift? Like how big a role does it play like compared to a conventional deadlift? It’s still worth training hammies hard?

Short answer: Yes

Ive always gone with conventional = more spinal erector action and sumo = more quadriceps action and everything else is pretty much same. Don’t actually remember where I got this from tho lel just always had that notion in my head

You could use a band for hamstring curls. But only if you wanted to.

If it’s relatively easy and I superset it to save time I could but the clicking just annoys me is all
