Diet Update

Haven’t weighed myself for a few days.

This morning came up 86.6kg.

With the meet so far away and the 82.5kg class as the target there’s no rush so gonna maintain for the next 4 weeks leading to my max test and then continue to diet down slow once the program gets back to volume work.

Dieting for me is a lot about discipline and consistency for me. I have an off day too often and snack loads. Better food choices and buying limited amount of snacks to limit the damage I can do will hopefully keep me on track.

Training sesh today with mates.

Didn’t sleep very well last night and spent a couple of hours in the morning mowing lawns with my dad so might take a nap and see how I pull up afterwards. Can already tell back is sore but won’t be deadlifting anyways

Probably gonna bump the fatigue ratings a bit and/or split this workout over two days. We’ll see

Not feeling too hot as per above. Squat and deadlift are gonna be high fatigue but bench won’t know until I’m in the gym.

Pause squat was pretty fried so dropped the working weight a smidge to 120 after a top set @ 130kg

So bench ended up feeling like dog shit lol so went with triples at 100kg. Probably lot of factors going into that: poor sleep, physical work in the morning, training too soon after a big sesh but gym nemesis wanted to train today.

Not gonna lie disappointed with bench. Used to make this weight and volume my bitch but then again I was 4-5kg heavier and was blasting bench volume at the time. Maybe bench is better off at that workload then? If that’s the case the AI program will get to that conclusion by itself but in the mean time I hope I’m not leaving gains on the table.

Overhead Press moved to next workout.

I’m trying to really recover better sleep, food and take every opportunity to chill out and destress. Successful at times but gotta do better.

Might try the wraps for first time a bit on Thursday. Guess there’s not really any point sticking with the lighter wraps now.

MORE EDITS Just checked the nutritional info 200 cal a pop oops. 15 protein total so all good lol. Might just make this a refeed day then because changing the label makes everything better

Lunch out at Lazy Moe’s. Have definitely well and truely blown up my calories for the day though I don’t count lol but have got in 100ish protein. So might call the days good there or maybe one more small meal or shake
