Dynasty Warriors 4 was always my “don’t have to think to hard” game before I very recently sold it and the PS2. I freaking loved that game and Unreal Tournament for the PS2. Both games that you could play brain dead but could spend hours on.
Exactly. Since you dont have DW4 anymore, 6 is the best one since.
My buddy torrented Dynasty Warriors 8 on a whim. It brought us back to the old days on the PS2. We even used to use “Dynasty Warriored” as like a phrase to describe a scene in a movie or something whenever one person would take out a bajillion dudes single-handedly.
Me and my neighbor would play it for hours. I still chuckle when I think about him screaming “Run the fuck away” during the first Lu Bu duel that was essentially unwinnable.

Yeah, 5 and 7 disappointed me. It seems every other game they hit it right on the head LOL cause i loved 4 and 6, and now im gonna have to get 8 because IGN giving a Dynasty Warriors game an 8.7 out of ten may very well be a once in a lifetime thing for me lol.

LOL Few things in my gaming career have provided as much of a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment than defeating Lu Bu at Hu Lao Gate on any difficulty above medium.
I used to play Madden in franchise mode. I’d do the fantasy draft, then after a few seasons (I played all games with 10 min quarters) I would create myself as a character with every ability maxed out; and of course I made myself 7’ and 400lbs, totally jacked and ripped to shreds.
I probably wasted a full year of my life (meaning around 7000 hours) doing that. Extremely depressing to think about what I could have done with that time.

I have Sonic, Sonic 2, and Sonic 3 and Knuckles on Steam. I still play them often. My cousin and I used to play the crap out of some Sonic back in the day.

not sure if srs? Sounds like time well spent. I fantasize about being 7’ 400lbs shredded all the time… at least you got a visual.
No one digs FF7? That was hands down a bomb ass game! Spent a few years on it as child.
Cloud > Claud > Claudan.
That is not a guilty pleasure, and i will fight to the death to defend that statement.
It is purely pleasure, no guilt.
I list FF7 as my favorite game of all time. I end up playing through it about twice a year and have since i was 11 years old and first got it. Too many good memories with that game.

Hm, somewhere in my foreign upbringing I lost the ability to distinguish between ‘guilty pleasure’ and ‘pleasure’… anyone?
Isn’t anything beyond my working-sets classified as pleasure/guilty-pleasure??? That’s what I read in a bodybuilding.com article

I think by guilty pleasure game he means one that most consider either not very challenging, childish, or outdated. Am I on the right track audio??

Wow, need to make sure I don’t brag about being on level 50. I refuse to use the FB part of it (I don’t have or want FB), so I have to wait days of trying to get the “tickets” you need, and have to stop playing for hours for my lives to refill up, only to burn through them in minutes.

yep. I’m certainly not posting requests for lives on facebook, nor am I about to spend a dime on the game. 100% RAW/NATTY.

Most people don’t seem to get “guilty pleasure”. I consider most free to play/pay to win type cell phone//tablet/facebook games a guilty pleasure at best.

Yeah it would seem they dont, but theres still some solid and nostalgic titles being thrown out there.
Yeah probly, but I still think my first two are pretty guilty pleasure. For me anyways. I mean, bubble bobble? lol
