I think some of you are just judging the peak of the biceps. Bwhitwell has great looking arms that he used to model with…but there is no way he is 18+ inches.

I don’t have a big peak on my arms. Neither did Sergio Oliva…but come contest time, he had the thickest arms on stage.

A high peak is ideal in bodybuilding. You can make your arm look much bigger than it is if you do have one.
Omg. I said this 2-3 pages ago yet you told me, everyone knew this, thanks for the common sense advice (paraphrasing).

Lolz
Uh, right…because BICEPS PEAK sounds just like “body fat”.

You can change your body fat levels. You can;t change your PEAK…so no, we weren’t saying the same things AT ALL.

You’re leaning out quite nicely!

You might be able to increase the size of the brachialis, but no, in general, if you see an article making it seem like you can go from a flat peak to a high peak, it is bullshit.

Make the muscle bigger and your peak will be less noticeable. King Beef has a higher peak than I do even though my arms are bigger overall.

You have to realize that these authors have to write about something.

You can’t literally change how your genetics SHAPED a certain muscle. What you can do is try to affect the muscles around it to create the illusion.

Thanks man. Working with Shelby Starnes and Josh Bryant has made it simple.

Haha. My previous posts said leaness and especially shape can make a bicep look bigger. I discussed leaness with you because that’s what you brought up, but my previous posts listed a few things.

Thanks.

You are right, I measure 17.5 cold, easy 18 with bicep and tricep pumped. I think the peak,( which is 100% genetic), only contributes a small part to the size of my arm. The long head of my tricep seems to grow fairly easy and is by far the largest part of my arm. A side veiw of my arm looks alot different than from the front.

No doubt, your triceps got some hang man.

or my avi, whichever is more generous.

synergy: a goal that 99% of people are aiming for.
kingbeef: did your arm eat a grapefruit?

edit: 5’10 an 192ish

My image won’t upload, but I’m guessing 23.5" for PX…apparently I have no idea of an accurate cm - inch conversion and 45cm is 18" for me.

Id say x is around 21’’

One right arm coming up…

^ height and weight and I’ll guess? (take the stretch marks into account for my guestimate

Whoops… forgot those.

Height: 174cm → 5’7 ish?
Weight: ~98kg → 216 lbs
