^Lol, good times.
Finally got some good online play in yesterday. It’s not bad, but you have to constantly watch for other players. At least 3 times I’ve been “pulverized” as soon as I’ve walked out of a store. Plus people are fucking weird. Some guy kept following me and honking the horn. I’m like no dude not goin in a joy ride with some random guy. You didn’t even offer me candy…
Isn’t there a passive mode that disallows people from killing you? I’m going to wait until the servers die down a bit before I give online a bash I think, wait until it’s all sorted out.
Ya, it’s $100 bucks and I think you have to enable it each time you play. (In game $'s obviously)
That sounds rather unreasonable, though I suppose 100 shouldn’t ever be so hard to come by right? I hear there’s a multiplayer cash split, with like a bank account and all that jazz, sounds a little confusing to me but I’m sure I’ll get the hang of it.
Ya, killing another player = $100 everytime. Robbing a store is usually $1,000+ unless you kill the cashier to quickly. You can also sell stolen cars to the customs shop for a couple grand each time.
You have a bank account and I guess you are supposed to use it. I have been (you can deposit right on your phone or at an ATM), but I don’t know why. I thought any cash you have on you you drop if killed, but I don’t think that’s the case.
How does buying weapons online work? Does the weapon you’ve bought only remain with you until death and then you’re back to fists, or do you get to keep it and just have to restock ammo every now and then?
Once you buy a gun it’s yours from what I can tell. Now if you pick up, say an AK, and then die or leave the session you’ll lose it.
Also you start with a pistol Lamar gives you and if you join the social club the sawed off shot gun is available at ammunation.
