^Lol, good times.

Finally got some good online play in yesterday. It’s not bad, but you have to constantly watch for other players. At least 3 times I’ve been “pulverized” as soon as I’ve walked out of a store. Plus people are fucking weird. Some guy kept following me and honking the horn. I’m like no dude not goin in a joy ride with some random guy. You didn’t even offer me candy…
Isn’t there a passive mode that disallows people from killing you? I’m going to wait until the servers die down a bit before I give online a bash I think, wait until it’s all sorted out.
Ya, it’s $100 bucks and I think you have to enable it each time you play. (In game $'s obviously)
That sounds rather unreasonable, though I suppose 100 shouldn’t ever be so hard to come by right? I hear there’s a multiplayer cash split, with like a bank account and all that jazz, sounds a little confusing to me but I’m sure I’ll get the hang of it.
Ya, killing another player = $100 everytime. Robbing a store is usually $1,000+ unless you kill the cashier to quickly. You can also sell stolen cars to the customs shop for a couple grand each time.

You have a bank account and I guess you are supposed to use it. I have been (you can deposit right on your phone or at an ATM), but I don’t know why. I thought any cash you have on you you drop if killed, but I don’t think that’s the case.
How does buying weapons online work? Does the weapon you’ve bought only remain with you until death and then you’re back to fists, or do you get to keep it and just have to restock ammo every now and then?
Once you buy a gun it’s yours from what I can tell. Now if you pick up, say an AK, and then die or leave the session you’ll lose it.

Also you start with a pistol Lamar gives you and if you join the social club the sawed off shot gun is available at ammunation.

I just read if you have over $5,000 in cash other players can steal it, which is why you have a bank account.

did u guys fix it? i know a good fix if you are still experiencing problems.

Fix GTA?

It’s been working fine for me. PS3 and 360 both have an update today I think. That’s what I read anyway.

cool, yeah, clearing the ‘system cache’ of your xbox console would’ve solved the whole ‘loading’ phase for xbox360 a few days back.

took my crew into a helicopter, parachuted into the prison, instant 4 stars, followed by a blood bath.

Lol, ya I’ve seen Franklin there. Can you actually work out?

ok, so online-survival is the money maker, atm. Once you get past ‘wave 6’ the cash starts getting good… and its fun.

Ya, that’s what I’ve read. I’m also reading the character is probably not gonna be recoverable. I haven’t played it since he disappeared.

oh man, one of the game-plays is called ‘Hunters and Runners’ where one team is in cars/bikes and the other team is in fighter-jets and the jets must shoot down the cars.

I was a runner, turned the car around and drove straight to the airport(hunters spawn on the runway while runners spawn right outside the airport)
and stole a jet then hunted down the ‘hunters’ and shot em down.

epic, fucking epic game.

How far have you gotten now Derek? Have you got the minigun and jumbo jet plane yet?
Lets see, I was able to sell my house, buy a new one, move in (still doing that). Still manage 40+ people, keep my current office running, work on getting a lease agreement and contractor to build out the new clinic. Move my daughter and grandson into our new house (long story there). My wife is still 4 weeks out post shoulder surgery and is in a sling sleeping in a recliner. Work out 5 days a week, getting ready for the mudder.

I have a little bit of time to sleep somewhere in there and watch football.
I must of missed these missions. Are you working for Trevor Philips Industries?

;)
Im stuck in Arizona and have been in Baton Rouge before being here. Then I go to San Marcos after I get home from Az then I go to Corpus after I go to San Marcos.

I don’t remember seeing any of this in the game.

Damn…

Derek, I just want you to know that the sicker you get of these jokes the more often they show up, I, on the other end of the spectrum, get progressively happier with them. So it at least evens out.

As evidenced by the generous number of photos of enormous human land-anchors you post, on the regular. Sometimes I wonder how much of the internet would ever really phase you, therefore an experiment is in order.

Encyclopedia Dramatica’s “Offended” section, tell me where you get to before you grimace or some such thing. Though I warn those around you who may still have their child-like wonder, they must never see such places.
