Totally forgot to post here yesterday!

July 6th 2024

Did some events with another lightweight local strongman competitor. We had a blast hanging together and training.

Log clean and press:
85x5, 135x3, 155x3, 165x3, 175x1, 180x1, 180x1

Farmers walk:
3 sets of 75 feet with 180 lb per hand

Sandbag throw over bar:

Lots of sets of 30 lbs and 35 lbs, didn’t count the sets but it was over ten.

I’ll be honest and say I was not feeling like lifting today. I still got it done and now I’m happy I did it rather than skipping half of it.

9 sets of 3 bench press with double bands

log strict press 3x 5 reps (120/130/140)

100 skull crushers (ez curl bar plus 50 lbs)

Run the rack lateral raises (50 reps)

Short workout today

Axle deadlift work up to heavy triple: 205x3, 255x3, 295x3, 345x3, 385x3, 415x3

SSB Squat - 3 sets of 5 with 260 lbs

Ab wheel rollout: 4x15

Another short workout today but better than nothing, the goal is to do a short Strognman events day tomorrow with atlas stones and sandbag throws.

Heavy triple to 3 board close grip: 135x3, 185x3, 205x3, 225x3, 245x3

Close grip bench press: 3 sets of 8 at 175 lbs

Chin-ups: 4 sets of 5
