So I just got Grow! Whey, and was wondering if there was a time of day when it would be better taken? Like, on workout days should you take it 1 hour before your workout or something like that? On non-workout days does it matter when you take it? I have Surge for PWO.
Just use it whenever you want/need more protein in your diet.
It’s food after all.
It is just whey concentrate i believe so wouldn’t something insulin-spiking like that be detrimental later in the day (except for PWO) ?

People need to start differentiating between something causing a rise in insulin and something causing a “spike.” All to often any rise is referred to as a spike, which obviously isn’t the case.
I wouldn’t sweat using whey any time of the day.
Like HK said, whenever you need more protein usually. It is “faster” absorbing than Metabolic Drive so shouldn’t be used as a meal replacement. Normally used around workouts and morning for me with oatmeal if thats on the diet plan.
You need to take this stuff surrounding a workout. It’s fast acting whey.
On non-workout days, you should be eating food or a casein protein. something that will digest slowly and provide you with nurtients for a longer period of time.
