In your Nalgene Biotest shaker bottle, add 12 ounces of ice cold water to 3 scoops of Grow! Shake it up, and bang it back.
Waffles or pancakes:
3/4 cups oats
3/4 cup plain yogurt
3/4 cup skim milk
3/4 teaspoon maple syrup
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/2-2 large eggs, beaten
1 scoop Low Carb GROW!
Walnuts are optional
A little cooking spray on the pan or griddle
They don’t need to go in in any particular order. You can add more milk if it’s too thick. Stir it up and cook, a little less than medium heat for the pancakes. For the pancakes you should wait until you can stick the spatula completely under before you flip. This amount should take a full-grown T-man all the way to lunch. Adding fresh or frozen fruit on top works very well; peaches are awesome.
1 scoop LC Vanilla Grow! + 1 scoop Surge. Basically, high protein Surge. Can’t beat the angel food cake flavor of Surge. ![]()

I’d say the best shake I’ve had is as follows:
2 cups crushed ice
2 scoops of Vanilla Grow
1 cut up banana
2 glass servings of milk
1 strawberry yogurt
This is only good for bulking, but if I have trouble getting enough calories into my mouth, I will just make a real shake. Ice cream, milk, and one or two scoops of Grow!.
You can toss in peanut butter, or whatever else you like.
Now I have been thinking of trying to mix low-carb Vanilla Grow! with some low fat ranch dressing for dipping broccoli and cauliflower in. I haven’t tried this yet, so I take no responsibility if it just doesn’t work out for you.
“PROTEIN-PACKED GROW PANCAKES!”
(Makes a nice P + C Meal)
Mix the following ingredients until it makes a pancake-like batter:
-3/4 Cup 100% Rolles Oats Oatmeal
-1 Whole Egg
-4 Egg Whites
-1 Scoop of LOW CARB VANILLA GROW!
-1/2 of a Chopped Red Apple OR 1/2 Cup of a Chopped Pineapple
-A few dashes of Cinnamon (improves taste and helps control blood sugar levels)
-2-3 Packets of Splenda
Cook in a lightly greased non-stick pan until lightly browned. I often cook a bunch of these up, put them in platic bags, and freeze them. You can then take them out and eat them on the go!
ENJOY!
I learned about this one from the late Dr. Mel Siff. He submitted the following recipe for homemade energy bars some time ago. This is a good little recipe for a bulking routine.
Ingredients:
? Crunchy Natural Peanut Butter (pure, without hydrogenated oils)
? Honey
? CHOCOLATE or VANILLA LOW CARB GROW!
? Sunflower Seeds
? Optional Ingredients:
-Chopped Nuts (Choose Your Favorites)
-Creatine (Small Amount If Wanted)
-Raisins (Or Similar Dried Fruit)
-Ingredient X (Whatever Else To Suit Your Taste Buds)
Directions:
- Stir well until it forms a fairly solid mass.
- If you wish to make it into bars, then you simply wrap it in rice paper and refrigerate. You could also just place the mixture in a small plastic container, keep it refrigerated and scoop it out whenever you need some.
- Each time you make your homemade energy bars, modify the recipe to suit your taste. You will save a lot of money in the long run and discover your own tasty version of energy bars.
- Happy Munching!
Vanilla Grow!: 1 serving.
Natural Peanut butter: 2 tbls

Or:
Vanilla Grow!
with Milk. ~ Nothing beats the original…
Thanks for the ideas so far! We’ve begun to try some of these out and will announce the winner in Friday’s T-mag update. The winning recipe will appear in the “News and Feedback” section.
I’m going to have the mods unpin this post now, but we’ll continue taking submissions until Thursday.
Thanks!
2 scoops LC Choc Grow
16 oz Apple Juice
1-2 Tbsp Peanut Butter
Ice
or
Vanilla Grow
16 oz water
1-2 teaspoons of Orange Metamucil
drewpate—that recipe kicked A**…awesome!
Best Grow Recipe:
Take one hot t-man or t-vixen of your choice, make sure they’re not too salty or it will affect the taste
place them supine with shirt removed
sprinkle grow on nice tight abs
top with spray whipped cream (sugar free if you’re trying to lose weight)
top with strawberries, or a cherry and sprinkles.
enjoy!
Two variations on my portable breakfast recipe, which I mix by hand in a disposable Ziploc “tupperware” container:
- 1 cup plain non-fat yogurt
1/2 cup plain non-fat cottage cheese
1 scoop Vanilla LC Grow (or regular, if you like)
2/3 cup of blueberries or mixed berries (frozen is fine)
1/4 cup oat-bran (or pressed oats)
Cinnamon to taste
Directions: Mix the yogurt and cottage cheese together, then mix in the Grow, and then the berries. Then sprinkle the cinnamon (I use enough to basically cover the top of the mix in cinnamon), and add the oats/oat bran on top. This transports well in a tupperware container, and is excellent for those of you who are like me and actually like to chew breakfast. Plus, it follow’s Lonnie Lowrey’s recommendation of a protein/carb breakfast.
Alternative:
Substitute 1/2 cup of natural apple sauce and some sliced/diced apples for the berries. You can add raisins too if you desire.
Vanilla pudding popsicles
Take 2 scoops LC vanilla GROW
about 4-5 oz cold water
2-3 ice cubes
add to shaker cup and shake.
It’ll be pudding consistency
After that pour the contents into popsicle trays and place in the freezer
A great low carb summer treat
You guys should compile these in a GROW! cookbook! You could then give it away with the purchase of biotest products…
This is pretty good if you like those orange dreamsicles:
2 scoops vanilla Grow
12 oz.skim milk
I cup crushed ice
1 tablespoon fat free vanilla pudding
1 can mandarin orange slices(drain the can and stick in freezer for about half hour so that they chill-I like Dole brand )
In your blender on whip for a good 30 seconds or so. Yummy-Julianne
This is one I use for part of my second post-workout meal.
1 cup ff yogurt
1 scoop choc grow
1/2 cup ff strawberry/apple granola mix (trader joes carries this)
mix all together and enjoy! Just like candy! Of course you can tweak it for more or less cals/macros and if you don’t have a TJ’s around then another flavored granola mix might work as well.
Not a bad idea, snipp. We’ll probably compile a dozen of these into an article at least, sort of a “Shake It Up 2”.
This one is the best…
You take about three scoops of Grow! and then you get about 500ml water.
Put it in a shaker bottle and shake the hell out of it.
Drink.
