Groundbreaking Laziness. Pill for Endurance

i’d like to see one of this “in shape” couch potatoes squat 400lbs or deadlift the same amount.

if this comes out, and people use it…there will just be more injuries at the gym…which could be entertaining.

as in the other thread that I posted in

steroids are illegal but this would be fine?

well, if you read the article in full it states that it would be used for medical purposes, and athletes would probably not be able to use it, or get tested for it.

“Dr. Richard N. Bergman, an expert on obesity and diabetes at the University of Southern California, said the drugs might prove to have serious side effects but, if safe, could become widely used. ??It is possible that the couch potato segment of the population might find this to be a good regimen, and of course that is a large number of people.??”

please, with the money to be made, you really think a pill like that would only remain in the medical community for serious health issues?

If it’s not approved by the FDA, probably be very difficult to get your hands on. I assume it could not possibly be an over the counter thing.

Steroids are a Schedule III controlled substance. No one has any trouble getting them.

If this shit really works, it will be on the street before it hits the stores.

I don’t know if this version of the article mentioned it, but one of the drugs is already coming out labeled for a different purpose and was derived from (or maybe actually is) an extremely common lab dye. Somehow I bet there are already people using this.

As was mentioned though, it’s main application is for endurance minded folks.

Did you guys know that this is causing such a stir right now that the olympics are already going to be testing for it! Its not even that developed of a drug as of yet, in terms of research.
