I imagine the customer basis would simply shift. Old people need a LOT of drugs. If you get your customers to live longer, you can sell them more drugs for longer too.
But that said, I imagine even undertakers would prefer making a few fewer XXXXL coffins.
People tend to thin out as they get above 70. Lots of old people told me they rarely get hungry like they used to.
People only need lots of drugs if they are being told by doctors to use them.

That was what I was referencing in my vague throwaway line: undertakers would prefer people live longer, even if it means business is less booming compared to if everyone around them only lived half as long. It takes a real piece of work to prefer humans die off earlier so that they can profit from it.
Fewer opportunities for resurrection though.
Ghosts vs zombies. Rather be a ghost.

I don’t believe a zombie is anything but your reanimated corpse. While a ghost is a spirit based thing, independent of the body.
I think you could simultaneously be both a ghost and a zombie - unless you have been cremated.

But zombie viruses have special preservative and energy creating properties which keep the zombified corpse relatively intact and in working order to act as a vehicle to continue to self propagate (the virus, that is).
Probably right. Zombies could also do 1000 deadlifts daily.
I actually said better quality lives. Better quality can lead to longer living but not necessarily. An obese individual who took their meds as they should and ate a better balanced diet would probably end up getting off said meds and living a better life instead of suffering strokes or other cardiovascular events that reduce their quality of life. Sorry for the run-on sentence.
Also if they’re healthier, pharmacists won’t be overworked as they are now. Trust me, I’d much rather the healthier population.
Having lots of 95yos creates problems too. More retirement homes and welfare.
Yesterday had a pleasure to meet and talk with the first ever BB champion of my country back in 1964 he is >=70years young at the moment, looking awesome I’d say. So he said same thing that appetite is not the same as it used to be, doesn’t get that much hungry, which is pretty much what you’d expect IMO. Ofc he don’t weight train anymore, just plays ping-pong 3hrs x 3 times/week.
If you guys haven’t followed Anthony Jay’s research on xenoestrogens it might be a good read/watch. He strongly advises staying away from conventional meat because of what they’re fed and how they’re thusly loaded with estrogens.
Grass fed beef though, it’s pretty good and also a net positive for the environment.
It’s really one of my big issues with health and fitness. People will start making lifestyle decisions based off off-handed comments they read in a magazine one time that they can’t remember the source or their qualifications. And this is regarding stuff you are putting INTO your body.
If you read somewhere that putting sugar in your gas tank will make your car run fuel efficient because now it has more energy, you’d research before asking online where the best deals on sugar are.
Do you guys know where I can find REAL science about the consumption of red meat, saturated fats regarding heart disease, colon cancer etc.?
Im not a vegan, Im not a carnivore diet eater, Im a normal dude but I´m interested in this topic because I deal with Crohns diseases and still looking for foods that not cause inflammation
thank you very much!
Why? If it is because you have Crohnes would not eating meat and seeing how you respond be better?
Im interested in that topic and yes, if certian foods are more harmful than others or have a risk potential I will try to limit them
anectodal advice is one of the lowest form of evidence. You know they were an exception. If you refuse to think that way, don’t read any further.
current meta-analyses all agree that the consumption of red meat causes colorectal cancer, amplified by low fiber consumptions. How that happens is known in part as well. Even unprocessed, through synthesis of omnivorous gut microbiomes producing TMAO for example.
I say if you’re worried about adverse health effects of meat, make sure you get in lots of fiber through fruit and vegetables too. I eat meat despite all the research because I’m willing to take the risk for a good steak/easy protein. However I usually eat 4-5 different fruit a day along with lots of vegetables and legumes to every meal.
