Greetings to Over 35 Lifters...From Florida

Hey fellows, what’s going on? Im officially over 35. My name is Eric and Im from florida. All I can say is that i am super impresed with your part of the forums… you guys rule.

Over the past years I struggled with being overweight. I used to box as a kid but with epilepsy I began to gain weight because of the sedentary life style of a pill popping epileptic with migraines.

Now that I have my epilepsy controlled I hit the gym again. It hasn’t been easy but I went from 268 to 200 pounds. It can be done!. Just stopped to say hi and introduce myself. Keep up the good work.

I took a few weeks off from training, because af a sore shoulder, but will be back on monday in full fore. I gained a few pounds over the last few weeks because I was honestly tired of dieting. Will try the Tdawg and see what happens over the next 7-12 weeks. My goal is simple, I want to see some abs. The last 20 or 30 pounds are killing me. Im still overweight (though no longer obese).

i will continue reading the forums please… keep up posting.
Nice to meet you all,
eric

Welcome fellow old person  I know not what you’ve done so far to reach the point your at, which is great, btw…don’t sell yourself short, ever…but if you’ve been at it for a while, taking a couple of weeks off of ‘dieting’ usually will jumpstart your weightloss again. I’ve spent the last 3 years getting strong in the winter, only to toss it out in the summer cuz I used to be worried about what others thought of how I ‘looked’. Now, I dont care. I refuse to trade strength for abs any more…at least to a ‘healthy’ degree.

Welcome - join in and post your training. This is a great bunch of supportive lifters.
