Green Veggies and Macro Nutrient Breakdown

Hey guys,

Got a question relating to green veggies. Do you guys count these as part of your macro nutrient breakdown? Since their caloric value is very low and you practically can not overeat on them I would assume counting these would be pointless.

Anyone disagree?

I am not sure, for the most part I do not and most people say it is not necessary but, at times I think I should. If I were to eat raw green veggies I do not think it would be a problem(harder to eat a lot of for me) but, steamed I eat 500g of broccoli 4x a day thats an extra 600 calories of broccoli alone, though it is a veggie is it at a point where I should be counted? Maybe. I used to count everything maybe I just feel weird not doing it now.

For myself i prefer not counting cals from veggies (this doesnt apply to pre-contest dieting) especially if the biggest part is coming from the leefy green ones.
Homever i would keep track of the net carbs from it (the ones not coming from fiber)
Hope this can help
