Do any of you visit cdbaby.com? I pick up a lot of independent music there. Good, unknown tunes sorted in sub-genre categories that are easy to navigate.
Earlier today I tried Tabata for the first time and it made me think of one of my favorite songs. Don’t know if you can consider it unknown, but anyway, here it goes.

Very nice tune, as is “14 years”, but my fave of Use Your Illusion I and II is “Estranged”.

Estranged still gets to me.

OK, I’m going ‘old-school’ metal for this one.
“Lady of Winter” - Crimson Glory
http://www.deezer.com/track/lady-of-winter-album-version-T724062
“Thundersteel” - Riot
Incidentally, Thundersteel (the LP) was a cult classic concept album in the 80’s when it came out. The greatest metal album that no one ever heard.
Other Thundersteel songs:“Johnny’s Back”
“Fight or Fall”
“Sign of the Crimson Storm”
You get the idea. You’re exhausted after listening to the whole album straight through. Great workout music, especially if you’re hopped up on HotRoxx and Spike Shooters…
