Govt Tracking Your Car

There are a couple solutions to this.

One, get a lentricular cover for you plate. This doesn’t work great against a toll camera with a flash, but will obsure the plate from an angle and stop a passive camera. Not legal in all states.

Better yet, get one of the license plates with IR lights on them. They are invisible to the naked eye (and oldstyle film cameras), but mess with electronic cameras, creating an impossible-to-read blur. This is completely legal. You can even create them at home, if inclined with battery-operated flashers:

In fact, you can wire them up and use them in a baseball cap to hide your face, if one is so inclined. Total cost $20, although they sell the headbands now for like $50 pre-made.

This is basic mossad stuff.

You can spoof GPS trackers, too, by jamming or replacing the very weak satellite signals, to make a tracker read that you are anywhere you want to be.

If they do, if will be the Mossad, and you wouldn’t want to try and track them, anyway. Let it go, man.

The Boston Bomber was caught because some random guy happened to walk into his back yard. CCTV didn’t catch anything. As a matter of fact CCTV helped splash some kids face all over the news that wasn’t even involved.

Wrong.

The false identifications were being made by internet idiots with no training. Police had nothing to do with that.

CCTV allowed police to quickly put up images of these guys, thatt got them on the run to begin with.

Furthermore, guys get over it, you do not live in a Fascist dictatorship. Hate to break it to you, but there you go. Just because you are on CCTV footage does not mean the cops think you are guilty and must prove your innocence. Do you honestly think they are that stupid? Give them some credit for Christs sake! [/quote]

Exactly. You can’t ignore the usefulness of the cameras being able to get his image out to the public quickly.

The fact is that cops scanning your license plate and knowing where your car is at various times is not an illegal search and is completely within the parameters of the constitution. I don’t want the govt. involved in my private life either but imo this is not an infringement. Damn they can have fingerprint records of you, who cares if they know where you’re car has been parked the last couple of years?

“Ask the vicitims of the Boston Bombing…CCTV nabbed that fuckers arse real quick.”
-Wrong, no it didn’t.

“The false identifications were being made by internet idiots with no training. Police had nothing to do with that.”
-Wrong, did I say the police did this? No I said CCTV allowed for this to happen. If I’m not mistaken these “internet idiots” used images from CCTV’s to finger those two kids. A perfect example, you provided, of why you should be concerned.

“Furthermore, guys get over it”
-I bet Hitler said this too. Probably some time in the early 40s.

Why do we have entrapment laws if our goverment and by extension the police are 100% truth worthy?

The answer is they aren’t.

Big government won’t be happy until they monitor, control, regulate and oversee every aspect of your life. For your own safety and the good of all, of course.

On a semi-related notw.

It’s times like this I wish the Hyborean age wasn’t a fiction. I’d rather live on the pointy end than this slow slide into pseudo slavery.

“Now and then we had a hope that if we lived and were good, God would permit us to be pirates.”

To answer the original questions: No, I am not comfortable with it and I think Jefferson would be appalled. But only after he’d come out of the shock-induced coma from the miraculous technological future world we threw him into.

So, the police now know:
1.) Where your car is at all times
2.) Who you are emailing
3.) Who you send snail mail too
4.) Who you have been calling
5.) All of your financial information

They also have the power to:
1.) Freeze your accounts
2.) Garnish your wages
3.) Illegally search your home (Boston Bombing)
4.) Charge you with domestic terrorism and throw you in Gitmo (without Due Process)

Am I missing anything.

Ya, nothing to be concerned about at all. That piece of rotting paper in DC has my back.

Here’s the problem though:

"First they came for the Jews,
and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a Jew.

Then they came for the Catholics,
and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a Catholic.

Then they came for me,
and there was no one left to speak for me."

If you don’t fight for the rights of people you aren’t part of, or aren’t personally concerned with, then there’s no one left to help you when they finally come for YOUR rights. This is one reason we allow, and soldier fought for, the hideous practice of flag burning.

This isn’t a game of conserving your energy. If you don’t bother getting up, you won’t be able to when you need to.

Okay I agree, however what is your proposal?

I do not believe we are at a state of revolt. We are still in a Democracy and state laws are just that state laws. Like I stated the reason I will never leave Texas.
