I might try leg press for FST-7 if I can find a way to feel it mostly in my quads. Otherwise I’ll have to do hack squats…and I hate hack squats.
I find myself zoning out/feeling tired mid-workout too sometimes. Generally I have to crank my music or self-motivate myself. Not sure if it’s from my pre-workout stims wearing out or what.
What are the butt blasters? The Kai Greene thing where he stands and does a hamstring curl on the leg extension?

You give me an idea. I should do one foot for that leg press machine because it doesn’t fit enough plates to challenge me. It seems easier than the leg press with the sled.

I used to do the hack squats for FST-7. I’m not a fan of the hack squat machine either, but for FST-7 it’s actually pretty awesome. Not as monotonous as just doing regular sets.
But you don’t have to do hack squats or even leg press for FST-7. Leg Extensions FST-7 are awesome. They scare the shit out of me, but very effective. Changing the toe position from set to set is good too. Like, point the toe outwards for 2 sets, then straight then inwards for the last set or whatever.
The butt blasters are a glute exercise that targets the upper glute area. I actually have a vid:
I used to do them on the smith machine, but now I’m doing them on the prone leg curl machines and leg extension machines.
No training today. Don’t feel like going through the hassle since it’s a holiday and everything. It’ll be crowded and I see enough people in a day as is.

Today was the day that I took off the training wheels on my bodypart split. No one probably read why I had a chest/back day, but it was because that was the only way that I could ensure that I can train chest effectively. I never liked training chest and used to half-ass it. I found that training back and chest together made me take chest workouts more seriously.
Anyway, this morning I wasn’t looking forward to training back and chest together so I’m changing back to my chest/shoulders/tris, legs and back/bi split. I learned quite a bit about myself doing the chest/back, legs and shouldes/arms split and identified my weaknesses and strengths so that’s good. Now I’m looking forward to my more BB split again.

Aqua, I’ve been doing all tricep work (well 95% tricep work) thumbless for months now. One of the huge guys in the gym taught me and I’ve been hooked ever since.

I’m taking the day off today. Trying to chill to the best of my ability. I slept until 10 and I still want a nap. I did some cleaning, paid some bills, bought some supps, and that’s pretty much it. Oh and I had some smores. Yum yum. My compression shorts also arrived so I’ll be wearing the zebra print tomorrow. Tomorrow is back and bis, which is kinda good that I took today off because I will like to deadlift tomorrow as well.
I also found a possible culprit for my shoulder issue. When driving, I have my left arm in the 10 position. For the most part, my right hand is on the gear shift which explains why my left shoulder feels more pain during pressing. No biggie, I just have to really drive in my head to have my hands at the 4 and 8 positions or whatever.
Still doing my shoulder pre-hab stuff too.
