Good Protein for Post Workout?

I just got another job so I’m looking for a protein shake that I can down right after my workout. I’m really just looking for a whey isolate. It doesnt have to be the next big thing or whatever, just some good quality protein that wont break my bank.

All the “less expensive” protein Im finding are all blends or concentrate. Any names? When I have taken supps in the past, I’ve just been taking ON Whey, and I just want to try something new, maybe a little bit cheaper. Also with my whey, would you guys recommend Dextrose? Im bulking…

If only there was a website, possibly even one with a message board such as this, that sold the type of supplement that you’re looking for…

Lol, I kid. But seriously.

Over the years, I’ve tried and enjoyed nearly all the protein blends and MRP’s available here. You know, for different goals at different times and all that. Anyway, in my experience, the top-notch quality is obvious.

Now I do understand the whole money-saving sentiment, especially these days and all, but the way that applies to food (IMO) is to occasionally forego the stuff that adds up $$ fast (ie. out to lunch, happy hours, steakhouse, good sashimi/sushi etc). And NOT skimp to save few bucks on the food staples that actually utilized daily.

Surge Recovery is a basic protein and carb workout shake. Grow! and MAG-10 are more versatile and can both be used as workout shakes (before/during/after training) or anytime during the day.

I was thinking about getting ON Pro complex gainer for my pre and post workout shake. What do yall think? Or just straight whey with oats and dextrose blended?
