Good Program for My Goals?

ok well when i see results that are better than aaaall the greats who use periodization, such as kaz, coan, furnas, karwoski, then i will gladly throw it out
I understand. I was at least able to show you results that are better than your personal results while using the method of all the greats, but how you train is always going to be up to you. You have to find what works for you.

congrats, you out lift a guy who has been able to train lower body for about 8 months now. very impressive. suppose 600x7 reps total sounds alot better than “with straps, touch and go, hitched” though. how much do you actually pull?about 620?wow

what the fuck is your problem? All he was saying was that linear periodization isn’t the only way to get strong. No need to be a dick, pwnisher’s given out incredible advice for years on this site, and he can back it up in the gym. What, exactly, are your credentials? I read a couple other posts you’ve made, and I haven’t seen anything of value come from you. My guess is, you’ve got a shitty life, you’re a shitty lifter, and you’d like to bring everyone else down to feel better about yourself.

I would say, at this point, forget programming. If you’re serious about training then most of the time you’ll likely do better without it. For strength and strength-skill, plus general conditioning, focus on singles. It doesn’t matter if they’re maximal, submaximal, repeated for volume, anything, but I would recommend that you use them. At the end of the day, barbell lifts are about force output and skill, not “working the muscle”.
If you work hard and often on singles with a few doubles/triples, then add in strongman work and other ‘functional’ training for more physical training and muscle development, I have a feeling you might find training more enjoyable and productive.

Train 3-7 days a week, but at least 4 is good. Adapt your training based on your results and aims, but always push for improvement. I’m seriously fed up with debate over deloads and periodisation etc., it just doesn’t matter that much for most people most of the time.
Good luck.
i would like to see the results gained from “periodization does not matter” because that is nonsense
Also want to remind you that you posted this. That video was a direct response to your comment here. You asked to see the results of not periodizing. That’s exactly what the video is. If you’re such a badass that you’re not impressed by this, so be it. The results are what they are.

I can’t imagine someone who’s actually stronger than pwnisher acting like you are. THAT’S the nonsense in this thread.

I haven’t gone for a max in over a year. I pulled 620 for a double 7ish months ago, but I never max in training. I’ve been trying out strongman for the past few months, but plan to hit a meet sometime after my next strongman comp on 8 Feb. I’ll be sure to let you know how it goes!

i have a great life, and can state, unequivocally, that i am alot stronger than you are. congrats on the 280 bench!lolhe started the passive aggressive dick swinging. but im sure you knew that first hand being firmly planted on his nuts

Passive aggressive? T3hPwnisher answered a question, your question, - directly - with a video. What’s PA about that? He didn’t appear to be putting down the OP or comparing himself to him…the guy asked for advice in a public forum and he gave him some.

Anyone that states" Unequivocally, that I am alot [sic] stronger than you are" to someone who does 600x7 should at least post a video or a meet total screenshot to back it up.

i was talking to flipcollar. nice job mouthbreather

also that is not 600x7. thats 600x1 plus a few touch and go, hitched, cluster sets

I will have to apologize for the hitching. The 600lbs got heavy after a few reps, causing my form to deviate.

You sound like some douche that spends his time at comic book conventions yet likes to criticize others anonymously online because you never measure up.

Show me where I gave advice in this thread, or even mentioned my own accomplishments. I can’t find it anywhere. I looked really hard too.

I can state, unequivocally, that while you may be stronger than me, you’ve offered absolutely no proof of that. So until pictures or a video of you lifting surface on here, you’re just a troll.

Side note: If you feel entitled to give me shit because I’m not as strong as you, then why are you giving pwnisher shit? You admitted he’s stronger than you. Oh wait, you had an excuse for being weaker than him. That’s cute.

Post a vid, a pic, or shut the fuck up.

batman122 are you actually 39 years old or did you just make up a date for your login profie? Because that’s how old it says you are in your hub. It’s strange to imagine this behavior from a 39 year old man though.

His posting style reminds me of that guy EthanX (I think that was his name, or something like it). He came straight off BBcom, where he was banned a few times, and got half a dozen names banned on here too.
