I’ve never done the low carb thing. My goal for years has always been to add as much mass as possible and gain weight. I hang out at around 13-15% bf. I’ve recently been thinking of trying a low carb diet and maybe getting down to 10% to see how the fellas look.
I know what the healthy fats are, I’m just looking for ideas on how you guys incorporate more healthy fats into your diets. Meal ideas, tricks, anything helps. And i’m looking for variety.
My favorite fat sources are: organic butter, extra-virgin olive oil, extra-virgin coconut oil, macadamia nuts, 100% chocolate (no sugar, no milk, just cocoa), whole cage-free eggs, macadamia nut oil, fish oil, avocados, and whatever the fattiest grass-fed beef I can find is.
I try to minimize my polyunsaturated fat intake, except for fish oil, and then split the rest up with a bit more monounsaturated than saturated (though I don’t view saturated fat as “bad” by any means).
