I (2A) love to start my training with some explosive-strength movement and then pump it afterwards.
But with what to start leg training?
Im not talking jumps or medicimbal throws now, not so close to speed end of continuum, I mean like push press or high pull (i can definitely do like explosive jump + heavy squat + pump work in the future, but now i am looking for just one explosive strength exercise).
And I need something more considerate than jump squats with weigth.
Right now the closest thing that I have in mind are double arm kettlebell swings - so heavy that i can do them for 5s.
What are other good strength-explosive exercises for legs? What is to legs as is push press to shoulders or high pull to traps?
