x2 mac, the phone will clear everything up. You should be discrete with your intentions at first and know hers too, if the tone of the conv gets nastier even for a couple of minutes you’ll just know.

Are these holidays we’re talking about thanksgiving by any chance? Or are we to understand you would have to wait over two months until christmas, new years, etc? If it’s the former, waiting 4 weeks might increase the anticipation a bit. If it’s the latter, you run a greater risk (and that’s all it is, risk, it’s not certain) that she starts to lose interest/gets another boy-toy/whatever.

I’d have no issue with dropping the $300. It’s the 11 hour drive there with a semi, and 11 drive home with blue balls if you don’t get it that is the turn off.

Looks like you can spend about $500 on a round trip plane ticket.
So, it’s either spend an extra $200 to fly, drive an extra 8 hours than the flight would take, or not fuck your hot 6th grade teacher.

Something else to add anyway. It takes 12 hours EACH way. That’s 24 hours of driving total, or maybe 8 hours of flying total at the most.

recently when i’ve been flying around i’ll get the ticket out of atlanta.
it’s about 2 hours from ft. mcclellan, and i stay the night before on post b/c it’s 12 bucks for a hotel room there.
i checked out a site that was pm’ed to me - www.cheapoair.com
atlanta to west palm beach, fl ran for 260 bucks. kinda tempting.
wondering if i flew into ft. laur if that would make it cheaper
will keep checking it out, also does anyone know if it’s cheaper to book tickets for over the weekend or a during the week?

This is exactly what I was going to post. To add, if you’re not sure it’s a sure thing, you could risk looking too eager by making that trip at the drop of a hat. Hell, even if it is a sure thing, the prospect of a 700 mile booty call (which it boils down to) could weird her out. You basically are strangers, and one night might not be enough time to seal the deal. Combine that with the fact she knows that you’ll be home a few weeks after that date, and your chances drop that she’ll put out right away.
Ninja move: Make her decide when you see her. I’m sure your holiday leave will be busy (time with the family + a night catching up with this friend, a night with that friend, etc.), so put it out there that you are busy but def have time for her coupled with the idea that you could make it home for a weekend sometime sooner. So, you’re not making it about the money - it’s your limited leave time that you are worried about. If she invites you before the holidays, she’s already made a decision to bang you that weekend. It would be rude not to.
Final point of analysis: Have you been talking to her more than you’ve posted? If not, you’ve already “made a date” over the holidays. Nobody likes a change of plans, especially when the motives behind the change aren’t clear (which they never are during dating/hooking up/whatever this is). And from what I remember, she hasn’t necessarily said she was planning to do more than a lunch or a HH for a couple of hours.
