Going from 'Get Fit' to 'Get BIG'

Training days:

Off Days:

2/16/2009 Morning scale:
Weight 176.8
Bodyfat 24.5
(body fat is inaccurate but hopefully useful enough to track changes)

Was surprised that the scale finally moved up!

Updates?

178.6, 25.1 this morning

Tracking my workouts in this thread:

Just finished the Fall program in Nate Green’s Built For Show book, and am beginning the winter program today, which focuses more on strength than hypertrophy. Of course, I will be looking for some hypertrophy still.

I should also note that I have been using Z-12 to help me sleep, which is an invaluable help, and also Surge workout fuel.

Will take weight again next Monday before making any modifications, as one week measurement may not be accurate.

179.6, 25.2

179.8, 25%

Pretty sure I only moved up 0.2 pounds this week because of some water loss.

Yesterday I went jogging for 10 minutes (going to do some light jogging on off days) and last night for some reason I got up to pee like 5 times. It was ridiculous.

I guess jogging/running helps with bloat / water retention.

Switching from turkey to beef as of yesterday, that will add about 200 calories per day. Also may add some fruit pre-workout with my scoop of whey.

Good stuff.

Do you have experience with water retention also?
