in agreement w/ stu at 5’7" 220 is huge, 250 even for bulk purposes is nutty. it’s good to shoot for the stars but it’s also effective to set attainable goals.
as for the dexter jackson thing, don’t believe the weight thing, he’s won the arnold at 207lbs, he told others he weighed 220-230, size is about illusion. granted if you’re 160lbs and hardly lift you won’t fool anyone. but at the 5’7" - 5’9" range anything above 200lbs at contest BF is pretty damn big.
Hey guys still working on it. My plan is to be compete at 5’8 ~195ish. Totally reavaluated my goals and I want this goal in 3 years at the most. Haven’t been making much progress lately bc i haven’t put my heart into it lately but im getting back into it and growing fast!
Im folling the Anabolic Diet. Here’s a breakdown.
3 chicken breasts
4 oz. Monterey jack cheese
12 pieces of bacon
15 fish oil caps
2 pounds of ground beef
4 TBS sour cream
4 serving almonds
I believe protein intake is ~280 grams with ~4500 calories.

I cant remember exactly where I left off lastafter ceasing training for a while but it was like 180 11%bf. Coming back to training I was around 180 15% bf. Now after 3 months im 190 12% so Id like to hit 220 around the same body fat. Probly be able to get it in less than 3 years from now If i keep at it.
^ Yea i got a final goal of competing in light heavy weight eventually RIPPED. Im hoping the anabolic diet will allow me to gain the weight I want to gain with minimal fat gains. Thanks for the compliment on the kitchen too. Ill probly post in Rate my physique later once im a week or two out from my first competition. First competition might be middle weight however though.

What do you mean good work? OP stated in no uncertain terms that he stopped training for a while and hasn’t had his heart in it.
^ Shit dude lol. Its cool but yea im getting back into it. Im training 6 days a week now and aiming for around 1 pound a week. So far everything is going good. Muscle growth is happening rather fast and now im going to keep doing the anabolic diet. I’ll critique my progress every month and make the necessary adjustments in my diet and training in order to fix the problem. Pretty simple plan if you ask me. I have my diet posted above so any advice there? Ill update once i get to 200 10%bf. Right now im 190 12%bf. Picture above is 180 15%bf.

Ok so he didn’t end up at 200 in three months like he said he would. But he did say he put on 10 lbs in 3 months and body fat dropped 3%. That’s good. I’m trying to be nice here and maybe provide some constructive criticism. Geez!

I’m not trying to “hate” on you or anything, I just don’t want this site turning into a big circle jerk like bb.com where everyone tells everyone how great they’re doing no matter what the reality is. It seems like you’ve got a good plan, stick with it and I’m sure you’ll be alright.
I know the general idea of the anabolic diet but I’m no expert so I can’t say much. Total protein and calories look like good starting points, just make adjustments as necessary.
^Thanks man I kinda took offense to it when I first read it but I thot about my lack of progress for a few minutes afterward so that’s why I decided to make that post underneath it as some sort of a half assed apology I guess I just had to hear it from somebody else and thankyou. As far as diet is concerned ill probly lean my protein sources up that way I can get more protein when I decide to cut for competition prep but not too much bc it’s recommended not to ever go below 50% fat in the diet. By the way if you ever want to try fish oil as an anti inflammatory… well it lives up to the hype lol.
