Alright, a couple of days of not lifting, only walking, sort of a deload, haha. I have decided to keep shit how I’ve been going, this past month has felt good, deads and squats feel awesome, hitting back with a heavy day, then a lighter one seems to be doing good, same goes for chest. Shoulders and arms get a ton of work in there too with a heap of fluff.
Will play with rep ranges a bit more this round
I have been starving all week and eating like crazy!!!
Walked 2.5km this morning before work in the ball shattering cold
Have felt a little flat last few days with slight sore throat, not sure if it’s a slight bug or due to me having to talk all bloody day!
Fluff day today!

No lifting for a few days, spent the long weekend out at Murray Sunset about 450km from home camping and 4x4ing, awesome time. Left Friday after work, didn’t get to camp until 11pm! Pissed with rain all night, all good, was toasty warm in the swag, although I had to piss a heap of times due to having a few brews! Second nights camp was awesome, noone around, heaps of wood, and I cooked a killer chilli in the camp oven!
The little fella came in for a session too, heap of chinups, squats and floor press
He’s 12, nearly 13. He used to always come in and do chinups and stuff but hasn’t for ages, but he’s been complaining about how skinny he is and wants to lift.
Hell be skinny for a couple of more years…
When you’re at that age you’re either skinny (good) or fat (bad).
another couple of years when hormones kick in he’ll be able to build muscles.
For now chinups, pushups, bw squats, and some kind og strongman stuff you know lifting things from the ground and putting it over something or on a shelve.Tire flips everything were he uses the whole body… AND curls of course.
Explosive stuff like jumping is good too.
But it’s great when the kids joins you and you’re spending time together that’s great.
Absolutely, I’m not letting him use any weights, apart from a 10kg plate that he floor press and deadlifts with, haha. He’s a good companion. He used to be able to bang out about 8 chinups in a row and and when I was prepping for a comp 6 years ago ( only one I’ve done) he would give press commands for bench and tell me if my squat would pass, haha
