Thank you for the support but I’m still around 255 and couldn’t bench my way out of a paper bag right now. You’re just being nice.
Usual place closed today because owner in competing in Detroit. Trained at the revived, reopened Press Gym. Good crew of benching there. I of course walked in and hogged the Forza bench to myself. Actually I offered to let others work in.
Bicep tendinitis still fuggin up my bench, at least at the bottom.
140 x 15, 190 x 10, 230 x 5, 280 x 5, 320 x 5, 360 x 5
4 board 370 x 3, 410 x 3, 460 x 3
close grip floor press 225 x 10, 275 x 10, 315 x 10
pec dec (mostly to stretch that tendon) 3 x 12
tri extension 3 x some
Then found an open parking lot. In this part of town nearly impossible to find anything flat, so it was wet and graded.
40yds + 90lbs x 10 trips. I need to start measuring my rest periods. I wasn’t resting enough between trips at first. On trip number 9 I nearly died, but I had to get it back the 40 yards to get it in the truck.

Should’ve had a spotter drive your car half way to ya
Jack, not sure if ‘friend’ is the right term for the prowler.
Cardio today consisted of two mile walk with the dogs. Meant to do elliptical but day got out of hand with errands, a meeting with a former colleague, etc.
Loving springtime, but of course my sinuses are going haywire.
You pulled out the prowler in some random parking lot and started pushing the thing? Did you get any ‘what the fuck is he doing’ looks? Wendler would be proud.
Steve,
Yes, I did. Well, a semi-random spot. I left the gym on Saturday and was thinking, as I got into my truck, where I am going to push the Prowler? then I thought about my truck. I love my truck. Then I realized I was right near the dealership where I bought it.
Then I realized that dealership was closed, as are all 100 or so that were owned by the money scamming man who ran a small auto-empire. He is still in the news daily here. So I drove my truck to the lot that it came from, and pushed the prowler there. There were some ‘no trespassing’ signs but I didn’t notice them until later.
Funny, I thought nothing of it at that time, but when I told my 20 year old where I pushed the prowler he said ‘you just pushed it in Hecker’s old lot? that’s awesome!!!’

I think its awesome you keep the prowler in your truck. Well either awesome or really weird. Not sure yet.
Surprisingly felt like crap once I got to they gym tonight. Had yesterday off, today was a great day outside, moved around alot, felt loose. Suddenly got under the bar and everything felt heavy, off. Hips tight as fug.
Foam rolled, stretched.
55 x 20, 145 x 10, 235 x 5, 315 x 5, 415 x 3, add belt, wraps 505 x 2, add briefs 605 x 2, 635 x 2, 655 x 2
Don’t think I hit depth on anything all night. New dbl ply briefs don’t sit quite right, tight in thighs, loose in the ass. Will need to get adjusted eventually. somehow felt like legs and core still got some work though. I will use the 655 x 2 as a baseline.
GHR 4 x 10
toes out leg raise 4 x 10
reverse hyper 2 x 20 w/90
then drove to the semi-deserted parking lot of a major insurance provider
Prowler 10 x 40yrds x 90 lbs. Dry pavement, rested 50 seconds between trips. No throwing up in the driveway tonight:)

what kinda truck do you have?? i love my truck as well… don’t get to drive it as much as i would like but i love it, nonetheless. i’m all excited… when the weather gets a bit warmer i’m going to have the bed "line x"ed and going to put some larger tires on the beast.
Jack, the prowler I am using is a proto-type of the EFS one. It is a training partners, he drives a Mazda, so my Dodge gets the honors. The only problem with this sled is the horns and their brackets are one piece. Which means evertime I use it I have the socket set out. Not real bad, but I am having a machinist friend make new brackets/arms to match the actual EFS model.
If the Prowler is my friend, it is a friend that likes to beat the crap out of me.
HIps are feeling trashed. Gotta get back to rotating my ME stuff better.
Did the following, all light, slow bber style tempo:
wide pulldowns 6 x 10-15
vgrip 3 x 12
face pulls 4 x 10-15
cable abs 4 x 10-15
dumbell shrugs 2 x 20
alt cable curls 5 x 10-15
fugmaster 5000 both ways 2 x 30 each
bike 20 minutes
last night did some cardio in the form of 40 minute dog walk. It should have been a 30 minute walk, however my 140lb American Bulldog Butch started off the walk thinking he should take the leash. He jumps up and grabs more leash in his mouth until he gets to my hand. He has never gotten my hand, but he does have jaws roughly the size and shape of, well, a 140lb bulldog.
Now, he is stupid and doesn’t know where he is going, really, so he shouldn’t have the whole leash. Thus we had to argue for a few minutes about this. This is a really good form of ‘hard’ cardio. Finally he saw things my way and we went for our walk.
this morning 30 minutes elliptical. Much less eventful.
My Labs can be a handful but I can usually take the dachshund in a 1 on 1. Your looking strong as ever. Ever had anyone say anything to you about using their parking lot for the prowler?
Harry, as of yet no complaints, but I am expecting it soon. As I was loading the prowler the other night an executive type was walking out to his Caddy, looking at me odd. Oh well.
Was supposed to start deload today. Well, looks like I am going to be drving to Chicago to help someone out at the APF Illinois states this weekend, so deload will start then. Did a kinda ME day, however, had no spotters:)
Bench 135 x 10, 225 x 5, 275 x 5, added reverse green bands 315 x 5, 365 x 5, 405 x 3, 455 x 2, 505 x 1
still lots in the tank, but it sucked ass unracking it.
reverse smith bench 225 x 10, 275 x 10, 315 x 10, 345 x 6
