A T-Nation classic to be sure.
We should have a Hall-of-Fame for these threads.
C’mon TC make it happen.
Go Heavy’s advice of doing timed sets of heavy work (he mentioned a 3RM but I use very slightly lighter) instead of more traditional paramters as Max Effort works excellently. It is second to none in its brutality and produces quality results in strength and hypertrophy. Thank you Go Heavy Fool.

You couldn’t have timed this worse if you tried.

“Belligerent” was a known bullshitter as well. Haven’t heard from him for awhile.
unbelievable. i guess i am just naive, but i cant believe anybody would care enough about Internet chat rooms/forums enough to invent multiple personalities, develop alter-egos, and whole intricate mythologies about themselves.
strange days.
by the way, i have a 14 inch penis. i said it on the Internet, so it is true!
don’t hate.

People that know me know that I’m a pretty confident guy. However, I got into it with GHF a ways back and wondered to myself; “Am I the only one who thinks this freak is full of shit?”
I had some cool guys backing me up (you know who you are) but most of his craziness seems to be accepted as gospel.
I actually got so wierded out that I didn’t check in for a few days, now this!
I don’t know if that “arm picture” was genuine or not but if it was, it was worthy of respect. However the guy it was attached to is a fucking looney tune.
And the dual personality log-in thing baffles me completely. Is it THAT important to those that do this to feel accepted?
A list of those with two or more names should be outed here and now. If I ever decide to change names I’ll make an announcement (not that anyone gives a crap).

He was the first one I ever saw get caught signing on with more than one name. That was some funny shit when we all caught on.

With just a hint of Tim Phoenix, don’t you think?

You’d have to be drunk, stupid AND crazy to do that. It’s classic.

i hear ya, a few weeks ago i got into with a guy who had a problem with what i said to somebody else(another board which will remain nameless) and he actually threatened me physically, and said some very insulting things about my children and girlfriend.
i PMed him with instructions on how the find me if he was ever n my part of the country, i have yet to hear back form him.
point is, lots of very “different” people on the net, you have to be careful and also take a lot of this stuff not too seriously.

This post confuses me. Are you saying that your idea of being careful and not taking things too serious is to PM a person that threatens you with instructions on how to find you?
I like both GHF and Belligerent. GHF is way over the top and much do intense for good health, but he would come up with some pretty insightfull reads about people or situations.
I would like to see the guy train. So far I’ve never seen anyone train more intensly than me, but I think he might. I’m pretty sure he’s going to hurt himself.
I think Belligerent uses multiple screen names because he gets frustrated no one backs him up. Especially when, in most cases, he’s right and there’s multiple morons backing each other up.

Unless your results from all of this ‘intensity’ also pass all of those people up, I am sure no one else is all that impressed.
