In the never ending quest for improved gains I’ve tried various things, one of the recent additions to my regime which I felt had a good impact was adding Glycerol. I’ve tried two bottles from nutrition shops, one of them was ‘Pump Script’, can’t remember the name of the other. They promised to give me ‘unreal vascularity and pump’ during my workouts. You are supposed to drink a lot of water and take it 45 mins to an hour before commencing your workout.
Generally I think they did help, and I may go back to trying them again. However, I know absolutely nothing about glycerol and wanted to get feedback from you all as to whether there is any weird risk with using it, or anyone had any feedback to it as a supplement to help pump at the gym.
Glycerin is a really cheap ingredient. I’m not into the bang/buck thing they have going there.
As a blood volumizer, sodium + glycerine will work, and with any number of available vasodialators like citruline malalate or many others, will give you mega pump veins and the like.
Over all, I’d say its meh at best. If you’re into pharmaceuticals there are way better, longer lasting and more effective vasodilators, and having elevated sodium and glycerol levels aren’t the best idea. Couple that with increased blood volume and therefore pressure, Thumbs down.
You can get the same effect a lot cheaper, like a couple scoops of gatorade concentrate and a vasodilator from wal mart.
Also of note: Do Not Butt Chug! Guaranteed to backfire violently!
