Was just going to say that. Legs/glutes hold lots of fat. I had same problem until I trimmed quite a bit.
You need to do more volume for other bodyparts (balance out your routine so that it looks more “bodybuilder” type than “powerlifting”).
Focus on lessor volume with back squats (back squats push the bum up and give it thickness) either through infrequent training for squats (like once a week or less), or through reduced rep/set volume.
And do more “machine work”/other exercises for thighs to overcompensate for the lack of back squat volume.
but I do knowthat when I put glute bridges in my cycle I notice my pants fit different in the back. Sprints and sdl’s definitely will make that booty pop…no homo
I cant go out to clubs without someone grabbing my ass…been getting “damn” thrown at me since jr high. lolputs on jeans and checks himself out in the mirror for the rest of the day
I have the same problem man, people have been commenting on the size of my ass for quite some time now, I get called Beyonce quite often. Some people even suggest that it looks like I filled up my trousers with a weeks worth of shit lol.
Not only that I have stretch marks on both cheeks to such an extent that it looks like I have regular sessions with a sadomachochist hooker, I should say that I don’t. You think it couldn’t get worse huh? - wrong, on friday past I bust the ass out of my XL canterbury trackies whilst doing squats, the thread ripping at the seams sounded like a big fucking pre-shit fart. I have no doubt everyone was looking, both as it happened and when I had to walk the kilometer back to my house with a big fucking rip from my guch to my lower back.
The best part of having a big ass is that you get to tell stories like these. Can I get a high five anyone.
I have a feeling every guy thinks their ass is too big but most really aren’t. Something with how we never see it or think about it, except in a mirror where then what we see is diff than what we think. We just want our ass to be totally inconspicuous, but there’s nothing actually abnormal about it sticking out a bit. However, by the sound of NIguy, perhaps some really are too big LOL
I wouldn’t say you should stop training glutes altogether. It’s like if your legs are a little behind your upper body - would that mean stop training your upper body? No, like any imbalance, you just put a bit more effort into the lagging part, not decrease effort on the strong part.

It’s not that big of a deal. It’s just like any other muscle group that you want to make bigger/smaller and just more proportional to everything else
Just took the measurement of my waist and then the measurement around the middle of glutes (biggest section). Waist is about 38 and around glutes its 45. What. the. fuck. I’m in the middle of cutting now so i’m sure (like some of you said) i’ll lose a lot of fat around the legs and butt
